UNNES Tuan Rumah PEKSIMIDA 2026, Talenta Lukis Jawa Tengah Berkompetisi

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menjadi tuan rumah Pekan Seni Mahasiswa Daerah (PEKSIMIDA) 2026 cabang seni lukis yang diikuti oleh 28 perguruan tinggi dari seluruh Jawa Tengah. Melalui ajang ini, para peserta berkompetisi untuk memperebutkan kesempatan mewakili Provinsi Jawa Tengah pada Pekan Seni Mahasiswa Nasional (PEKSIMINAS) 2026.

Rangkaian lomba seni lukis dibuka di Kampung Budaya Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni UNNES pada Rabu (15/7). Kompetisi berlangsung selama dua hari hingga Kamis (16/7), menjadi ruang bagi mahasiswa untuk menampilkan kreativitas, gagasan, dan kemampuan berkarya di bidang seni rupa.

Pembukaan PEKSIMIDA 2026 dihadiri Kepala Badan Pembina Seni Mahasiswa Indonesia (BPSMI) Jawa Tengah, Prof. Ir. Dody Ariawan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU. Dalam sambutannya, ia mengungkapkan kekagumannya terhadap suasana Kampung Budaya Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni UNNES yang sejuk dan asri.

Menurutnya, Jawa Tengah memiliki potensi talenta seni yang sangat besar sehingga persaingan pada setiap cabang lomba berlangsung ketat.

“Saya berharap prestasi Jawa Tengah pada cabang seni lukis dapat kembali dipertahankan setelah berhasil meraih gelar juara pada PEKSIMINAS 2024” ujarnya.

Rangkaian kegiatan secara resmi dibuka oleh Direktur Direktorat Akademik, Kemahasiswaan, dan Konservasi UNNES, Mulyo Widodo, S.Pd., M.M. Dalam sambutannya, ia menyampaikan bahwa PEKSIMIDA merupakan wadah untuk menjaring bibit-bibit terbaik yang akan mewakili Jawa Tengah pada tingkat nasional. Ia juga mendorong seluruh peserta untuk mencurahkan ide, kreativitas, dan potensi terbaiknya selama mengikuti lomba seni lukis.

Melalui penyelenggaraan PEKSIMIDA 2026, diharapkan lahir karya-karya terbaik yang mampu mengharumkan nama Jawa Tengah pada ajang PEKSIMINAS 2026.
