UNNES successfully holds a collaborative webinar with Universiti Putra Malaysia and RMIT Australia

UNNES successfully held an international webinar collaboration on Friday (6/19) afternoon. The theme raised was “How Educational Leadership Works in the New Normal”.

UNNES collaborated with two other universities, University Putra Malaysia and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), in sharing the strategies of leadership practice in new normal era.

On the webinar, UNNES was represented by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman, M.Hum. He said that his idea of growing leadership could generate productive, healthy and peaceful working situation in the new normal era.

The representative of Universiti Putra Malaysia, Associate Prof. Dr. Ismi Arif Ismail as the Dean delivered his idea about strong educational leadership that implemented at system and institutional level.

The other idea was mentioned by Professor Jeffrey S. Brooks, as Associate Dean Research & Innovation RMIT University School of Education Melbourne, Australia. He expressed that Covid-19 has taught us that we need to be ready to bend, but not break. Organisations must be ready to be more agile so they can pivot to meet new needs.

As those three speakers well colaborated on this webinar, the participants joined could come to 450 participants from Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia as well.

Rector of UNNES also stated that this webinar could extend the implementation of partnership among UNNES,  Universiti Putra Malaysia and RMIT.
