Semarang, June 6, 2026 – The Student Activity Unit of Entrepreneurship (UKM KWU) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), successfully held the Workshop Creativity of Science with the theme “Realizing Imagination: Building Business & Personal Branding in the Digital Era” on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the FMIPA Dean’s Office Building, 3rd Floor, Dean’s Hall. The event was attended by UNNES students from various study programs who have an interest in entrepreneurship, business, and self-development in the digital era.

This workshop was organized as part of UKM KWU FMIPA UNNES’s efforts to improve students’ competencies so they can develop innovative business ideas while building strong personal branding as preparation for facing competition in both the professional and entrepreneurial worlds. In addition to gaining theoretical insights, participants were also encouraged to understand the importance of using digital media as a tool for marketing, communication, and career development.

The event featured two inspiring speakers with experience in their respective fields. The first speaker, Roisyah Budiati, Owner of the women’s fashion business @outfitkita_mrq, shared her experience in building a fashion business from the early stages until it was able to grow through digital marketing strategies. Meanwhile, the second speaker, Hanifah Rose Diana, known as Wonosobo Digital Creator 2025, delivered material on strategies for building personal branding in the digital era. It is expected that the knowledge and experience gained during the workshop will serve as valuable preparation for students to develop their potential, create innovative business opportunities, and compete amid the rapid development of digital technology.

The implementation of this workshop also supported the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the provision of non-formal education that enhances students’ knowledge, skills, and competencies in entrepreneurship and digital literacy. In addition, this activity contributed to SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by encouraging the growth of entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and productivity among young people. This workshop was also in line with SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) because it introduced the use of digital technology in business development and personal branding, as well as SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration between student organizations and practitioners with experience in business and the creative economy.

Through the successful implementation of the Workshop Creativity of Science, UKM KWU FMIPA UNNES hopes to continue serving as a platform for students to develop creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to adapt to developments in digital technology. In the future, UKM KWU FMIPA UNNES is committed to continuing to present educational, inspiring, and innovative programs to produce students who are independent, creative, and able to make meaningful contributions to sustainable economic and social development.
