FMIPA UNNES dan PAMA Group Tanam 2.000 Mangrove di Semarang

Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) bersama PAMA Group melaksanakan penanaman 2.000 bibit mangrove di kawasan pesisir Mangunharjo, Kecamatan Tugu, Kota Semarang, pada Kamis (25/06/2026).

Kegiatan ini turut berkolaborasi dengan Kelompok Tani Mangrove Lestari yang berperan dalam penyediaan bibit mangrove sekaligus pendampingan teknis selama proses penanaman. Kolaborasi tersebut menjadi wujud sinergi antara dunia industri, perguruan tinggi, dan masyarakat dalam mendukung rehabilitasi ekosistem pesisir serta mitigasi perubahan iklim.

Kegiatan penanaman mangrove tersebut merupakan salah satu rangkaian Media Gathering PAMA Group 2026 yang mengusung semangat kolaborasi untuk keberlanjutan. Selain menjadi ajang mempererat hubungan dengan insan media dari berbagai media nasional dan lokal, kegiatan ini juga menjadi aksi nyata rehabilitasi kawasan pesisir yang memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem, mengurangi abrasi, serta meningkatkan kemampuan penyerapan blue carbon.


Hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut Abdul Nasir Maksum, Direktur PT Pamapersada Nusantara, didampingi TH. Puguh Susatyo, SRGS Division Head PT Pamapersada Nusantara, beserta jajaran manajemen dari perusahaan-perusahaan yang tergabung dalam PAMA Group. Kehadiran pimpinan perusahaan tersebut mencerminkan komitmen PAMA Group dalam mendukung berbagai program pelestarian lingkungan melalui kolaborasi dengan perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat.


Dari FMIPA UNNES, kegiatan dihadiri oleh Dekan Prof. Dr. Edy Cahyono, M.Si., Wakil Dekan Bidang Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan Zaenal Abidin, Ph.D., Wakil Dekan Bidang Perencanaan dan Sumber Daya Dr. Isnarto, M.Si., serta Wakil Dekan Bidang Bisnis, Riset, dan Kerja Sama Prof. Dr. Sutikno, M.T. Turut hadir Prof. Dr. Nana Kariada Tri Martuti, M.Si., Kepala Subdirektorat Konservasi UNNES sekaligus dosen FMIPA yang selama ini aktif mengembangkan berbagai program konservasi pesisir dan rehabilitasi ekosistem mangrove.

Kegiatan ini juga melibatkan Ketua Program Studi S1 Ilmu Lingkungan Dr. Andhina Putri Heriyanti, Ketua Program Studi S1 Pendidikan IPA Dr. Fidia Fibriana, Ph.D., serta sejumlah dosen FMIPA, di antaranya Abdul Jabbar, M.Ling. selaku dosen pendamping ILING Project, Trida Ridho Fariz, M.Sc., Hendra Febriyanto, M.Pd, Amnan Haris, M.Ling., dan civitas akademika lainnya. Mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Ilmu Lingkungan yang tergabung dalam ILING Project turut berpartisipasi aktif mulai dari tahap perencanaan kegiatan hingga pelaksanaan kegiatan di lapangan.

Turut hadir Vania F. Herlambang, Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2018 sekaligus pemerhati lingkungan, yang mengajak seluruh peserta untuk terus meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap pelestarian ekosistem mangrove. Menurutnya, penanaman mangrove bukan sekadar kegiatan seremonial, melainkan investasi jangka panjang bagi keberlanjutan lingkungan dan generasi mendatang melalui kolaborasi seluruh elemen masyarakat.

Kolaborasi antara FMIPA UNNES, PAMA Group, dan Kelompok Tani Mangrove Lestari ini sejalan dengan upaya pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), SDG 15 (Life on Land), serta SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) melalui penguatan kemitraan antara perguruan tinggi, dunia industri, dan masyarakat dalam mewujudkan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan.

Melalui kolaborasi ini, FMIPA UNNES terus memperkuat perannya sebagai institusi pendidikan yang tidak hanya menghasilkan inovasi melalui pendidikan dan penelitian, tetapi juga berkontribusi secara nyata dalam mendukung konservasi lingkungan serta pembangunan berkelanjutan melalui kemitraan strategis dengan berbagai pemangku kepentingan.
