BANDUNG — Tiga mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) FISIP Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) berhasil meraih Gold Medal pada ajang lomba esai tingkat nasional Nusantara Writing Festival (NWF) 6 yang diselenggarakan di Bandung, 3–4 Oktober 2026. Prestasi tersebut diraih melalui karya pada subtema Sosial dan Ekonomi.

Tim yang berhasil mengharumkan nama FISIP UNNES tersebut terdiri atas Sabila Cahya Putri (NIM 2403050090) sebagai ketua, Millati Islamia Hanifa (NIM 2403050138) sebagai anggota, dan Sonny Fakhruddin (NIM 2403050026) sebagai anggota. Ketiganya merupakan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan angkatan 2024.

Dalam kompetisi tersebut, tim mahasiswa FISIP UNNES mendapatkan pendampingan dari Dr. Tutik Wijayanti, S.Pd., M.Pd. selaku dosen pembimbing. Bimbingan akademik tersebut menjadi bagian penting dalam mempersiapkan karya esai yang dipresentasikan dan dikompetisikan pada ajang tingkat nasional tersebut.

Nusantara Writing Festival 6 diselenggarakan oleh Lembaga Setara Prisma Nusantara (Nusantara Muda) bekerja sama dengan Politeknik TEDC Bandung. Kompetisi ini menjadi ruang bagi mahasiswa dan generasi muda untuk mengembangkan kemampuan menulis, menyampaikan gagasan, serta merespons berbagai persoalan yang berkembang di masyarakat melalui karya ilmiah dan esai.

Keberhasilan meraih Gold Medal menunjukkan kemampuan mahasiswa PPKn FISIP UNNES dalam mengembangkan gagasan dan mengomunikasikannya melalui karya tulis pada level kompetisi nasional. Prestasi tersebut sekaligus memperlihatkan bahwa kompetensi akademik mahasiswa tidak hanya dikembangkan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran di ruang kelas, tetapi juga melalui partisipasi aktif dalam berbagai forum akademik dan kompetisi.

Bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, keterlibatan dalam kompetisi dengan subtema sosial dan ekonomi memiliki relevansi dengan bidang keilmuan yang dipelajari. Kemampuan mengidentifikasi persoalan sosial, memahami dinamika ekonomi masyarakat, menyusun argumentasi, serta menawarkan gagasan melalui tulisan merupakan bagian dari kompetensi yang penting untuk dikembangkan sebagai calon pendidik dan warga negara.

Prestasi tersebut juga mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4: Quality Education (Pendidikan Berkualitas). Pengembangan kemampuan literasi, berpikir kritis, menulis, dan menyampaikan gagasan melalui kompetisi akademik menjadi bagian dari upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan serta membekali mahasiswa dengan keterampilan yang relevan untuk menghadapi berbagai tantangan sosial.

Selain itu, pengangkatan isu sosial dan ekonomi dalam karya mahasiswa memiliki keterkaitan dengan SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, terutama dalam mendorong pengembangan kapasitas generasi muda agar memiliki kompetensi, kreativitas, dan kemampuan berpikir yang dapat mendukung kehidupan profesional di masa depan. Dari perspektif yang lebih luas, kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi pada penguatan kapasitas mahasiswa untuk memahami persoalan sosial dan ekonomi secara kritis serta menghasilkan gagasan yang dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat.

Raihan Gold Medal pada NWF 6 menjadi bukti bahwa mahasiswa FISIP UNNES terus didorong untuk berprestasi sekaligus mengembangkan kemampuan akademik, literasi, dan berpikir kritis. Prestasi tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi motivasi bagi mahasiswa lainnya untuk aktif mengikuti kompetisi akademik serta menjadikan berbagai persoalan sosial dan ekonomi di masyarakat sebagai sumber gagasan untuk menghasilkan karya yang inovatif dan berdampak.
