Semarang – Tiga mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Politik Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menorehkan prestasi dalam Sore Competition 2 yang diselenggarakan oleh PRISMA bekerja sama dengan Himpunan Mahasiswa Kehutanan Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Prestasi tersebut diraih oleh Carrel Reynata Agustin (2403060212), Novita Shellany (2403060222), dan Khanaya Rengganysia (2403060207).

Ketiganya berhasil meraih sejumlah penghargaan dalam kompetisi tersebut. Carrel Reynata Agustin meraih Silver Medal, sementara Novita Shellany memperoleh Bronze Medal. Adapun Khanaya Rengganysia berhasil mendapatkan penghargaan The Most Favorite Poster. Selain itu, terdapat dua penghargaan Favorite Poster yang turut diraih oleh peserta dari tim tersebut.

Prestasi tersebut menjadi capaian membanggakan bagi mahasiswa Ilmu Politik FISIP UNNES karena menunjukkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan gagasan dan menyampaikannya melalui karya yang mampu memperoleh apresiasi dalam ajang kompetisi. Kreativitas dalam menghasilkan karya poster juga menjadi ruang bagi mahasiswa untuk mengasah kemampuan komunikasi gagasan secara visual dan menarik.

Dalam proses mengikuti kompetisi, ketiga mahasiswa tersebut mendapatkan bimbingan dari Bambang Hermanto, S.Pd., M.IP. Pendampingan dosen menjadi bagian penting dalam membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan gagasan, menyusun karya, serta mempersiapkan diri untuk mengikuti kompetisi secara optimal.

Keberhasilan meraih beberapa kategori penghargaan sekaligus menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan kompetitif dapat menjadi ruang pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa di luar kegiatan perkuliahan. Pengalaman tersebut mendorong mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan kreativitas, kemampuan berpikir, komunikasi, kerja sama, serta keberanian untuk menguji gagasan melalui forum yang lebih luas.

Capaian mahasiswa FISIP UNNES dalam Sore Competition 2 juga memiliki keterkaitan dengan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4: Quality Education (Pendidikan Berkualitas). Keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam kompetisi memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan, kreativitas, dan kompetensi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan kehidupan akademik maupun profesional.

Selain itu, penyelenggaraan kompetisi yang melibatkan PRISMA dan Himpunan Mahasiswa Kehutanan UGM mencerminkan pentingnya jejaring dan kolaborasi antarmahasiswa serta antarorganisasi kemahasiswaan. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan semangat SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals (Kemitraan untuk Mencapai Tujuan) melalui terbentuknya ruang kolaborasi dan pertukaran gagasan di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi.

FISIP UNNES menyampaikan apresiasi atas prestasi yang diraih Carrel Reynata Agustin, Novita Shellany, dan Khanaya Rengganysia. Capaian tersebut diharapkan menjadi motivasi bagi mahasiswa lainnya untuk terus mengembangkan potensi, berani mengikuti berbagai kompetisi, dan menghasilkan karya yang memberikan manfaat sekaligus membawa nama baik FISIP UNNES di tingkat yang lebih luas.
