12 Mahasiswa FISIP Ikuti Kuliah di Malaysia

FISIPmemberangkatkan 12 mahasiswa untuk mengikuti program student mobility di Fakulti Sains Sosial dan Kemanusian (FSSK) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Program tersebut berlangsung selama 21 hari, mulai 13 hingga 31 Mei 2026.


Pelepasan peserta dilakukan langsung oleh Dekan FISIP UNNES, Prof. Arif Purnomo, di Kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Semarang, Selasa (12/5/2026). Mereka mendapatkan bimbingan dari Prof. Arif untuk serius dalam mengikuti kegiatan tersebut.

Wakil Dekan I FISIP UNNES, Fadly Husain, menjelaskan peserta program merupakan mahasiswa yang sebelumnya telah mendaftar program internasional GLAMP UNNES namun belum lolos seleksi.“Mahasiswa tersebut sudah mendaftar program GLAMP UNNES tetapi belum lolos. Karena itu FISIP memberikan kesempatan kepada mereka untuk mengikuti FISIP UNNES International Student Mobility Outbound Program semester genap 2025/2026,” ujar Fadly.


Program tersebut diikuti mahasiswa dari tiga program studi, yakni Pendidikan Geografi, Ilmu Komunikasi, serta Pendidikan Sosiologi dan Antropologi.Dari Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi terdapat lima mahasiswa, yaitu Ais Nabila Rachma, Mufti Falah Desmafitano, Vena Zaskia Meilestari, Aprilia, dan Ghina Raudlatul Janah.

Sementara dari Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi terdapat enam mahasiswa, yakni Mutiya Ambami, Shelomith Levi Anastasia, Maulana Milad Al Akbar, Aradhana Pratama, Fariz Muhammad Riansyah, dan Cirly Nazala Nayla. Adapun satu peserta lainnya berasal dari Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi dan Antropologi, yaitu Muhammad Hendrie Fauzan.

Salah satu peserta, Mufti Falah Desmafitano, mengaku telah melakukan berbagai persiapan sebelum mengikuti program internasional pertamanya tersebut.“Persiapan dari saya sendiri menyiapkan mental karena ini pertama kalinya ikut program seperti ini. Selain itu juga menyiapkan berkas seperti paspor dan tiket pesawat, serta meminta restu dan doa dari orang tua supaya semuanya lancar,” kata Mufti.

Ia berharap program tersebut dapat menjadi pengalaman berharga sekaligus membuka wawasan baru.“Harapannya bisa menjadi pengalaman yang berkesan, mendapat ilmu yang bermanfaat, dan mendapatkan teman baru,” ujarnya.

Peserta lainnya dari Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi, Shelomith Levi Anastasia, mengatakan program student mobility menjadi kesempatan untuk memperoleh pengalaman akademik di lingkungan internasional.“Tujuan saya mengikuti program student mobility di UKM adalah untuk memperoleh pengalaman akademik dalam lingkungan internasional, memperluas wawasan keilmuan, serta meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan adaptasi lintas budaya,” jelas Shelomith.

Menurutnya, selama berada di UKM para mahasiswa akan mengikuti berbagai agenda akademik dan pertukaran budaya.“Kegiatannya meliputi perkuliahan bersama mahasiswa UKM, diskusi akademik, presentasi kelompok, kegiatan pertukaran budaya, campus tour, serta interaksi dan kolaborasi dengan mahasiswa internasional,” ujarnya.

Ia menambahkan, sebelum keberangkatan para peserta juga melakukan berbagai persiapan administratif dan akademik, termasuk mempelajari budaya serta sistem pembelajaran di Malaysia.Terkait pembiayaan, FISIP memberikan subsidi sekitar Rp 4 juta kepada masing-masing mahasiswa.

Selomith menambahkan walaupun sudah mendapat pembiayaan dari fakultas setiap mahasiswa juga menyediakan uang untuk keperluan pribadi. “Kebutuhan biaya pribadi yang masih harus ditanggung peserta berkisar Rp 5 juta hingga Rp 7 juta selama program berlangsung, ucap Selomith.

Program student mobility tersebut menjadi bagian dari upaya FISIP UNNES memperkuat kolaborasi internasional sekaligus mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4 tentang Pendidikan Berkualitas dan SDG 17 mengenai Kemitraan Global.
