Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Negeri Semarang, memberikan layanan edukasi kesehatan reproduksi bagi generasi muda melalui program “Peningkatan Kesadaran Kependudukan pada Pemuda Karang Taruna Desa Keji Kecamatan Ungaran Barat untuk Mewujudkan Generasi Sadar Berencana.” Kegiatan ini secara khusus membekali pemuda dengan pengetahuan mengenai kesehatan reproduksi, keluarga berencana, serta kesiapan fisik, mental, sosial, dan ekonomi sebelum membangun keluarga.

Program tersebut dilaksanakan pada Senin, 6 Oktober 2025 di Gedung PKK Desa Keji, Kecamatan Ungaran Barat, Kabupaten Semarang, dan diikuti 45 anggota Karang Taruna Desa Keji sebagai penerima manfaat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan melibatkan Karang Taruna Desa Keji dan Pemerintah Desa Keji sebagai mitra, dengan dukungan Kepala Desa Keji dan perangkat desa selama kegiatan berlangsung.

Tim FISIP UNNES yang dipimpin Mohammad Syifauddin bersama Nabila Nurul Hawa dan Ayu Wulansari Pramita menempatkan kesehatan reproduksi remaja sebagai salah satu materi utama. Peserta diajak memahami pentingnya menjaga kesehatan reproduksi sekaligus mempertimbangkan kesiapan mental, fisik, sosial, dan ekonomi sebelum memasuki kehidupan berkeluarga.

Edukasi tersebut dilengkapi pembahasan mengenai keluarga berencana, termasuk pentingnya perencanaan kehamilan dan pengambilan keputusan yang bertanggung jawab dalam kehidupan keluarga. Materi ini relevan dengan kondisi Desa Keji, di mana prevalensi peserta KB masih berada pada 68,46 persen dan edukasi kesehatan reproduksi bagi remaja sebelumnya belum tersedia secara khusus.

Agar materi kesehatan lebih mudah dipahami, peserta tidak hanya menerima pemaparan. Tim FISIP UNNES menggunakan ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, tanya jawab, refleksi, serta evaluasi digital melalui Mentimeter. Pola ini memberi kesempatan kepada para pemuda untuk membicarakan persoalan kesehatan reproduksi dan kesiapan keluarga dalam konteks kehidupan mereka sendiri.

Diskusi juga menghubungkan kesehatan reproduksi dengan perencanaan kehidupan jangka panjang. Para pemuda diajak melihat bahwa membangun keluarga tidak hanya berkaitan dengan usia, tetapi juga kesiapan menjaga kesehatan, mengambil keputusan terkait reproduksi, serta mempersiapkan kondisi sosial dan ekonomi yang memadai.

Setelah mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan, peserta menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai kesehatan reproduksi dan kesiapan berkeluarga. Mereka mulai melihat pentingnya kesiapan mental, sosial, dan ekonomi sebelum menikah serta memahami bahwa kesehatan reproduksi merupakan bagian penting dalam membentuk keluarga yang sehat dan berkualitas. Keterlibatan Karang Taruna Desa Keji juga membuka peluang agar edukasi kesehatan tidak berhenti pada peserta kegiatan. Para pemuda didorong menjadi penyampai informasi yang benar kepada lingkungan sekitarnya, sementara Pemerintah Desa Keji memberikan dukungan terhadap keberlanjutan kegiatan edukasi bagi generasi muda.
