UNNES has successfully held University President Forum (UPF) 2021 on Monday (29 March) under the theme of Implementing Society 5.0 in Higher Education. It was held online through the Zoom Meeting and live broadcast via UNNES Youtube Channel. UPF 2021, which is one of the agendas in the 56th Anniversary of UNNES, is a forum to strengthen and expand UNNES cooperation with its university partners around the world.
This event invited eight university presidents or rectors as speakers from United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia. The speakers were Prof. Stephen Marston (University of Gloucestershire, U.K.), Prof. Dr. Paul Pauli (Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Germany), Prof. TANAKA Shigeo, Ph.D. (Kanazawa University, Japan), Prof. Ts. Dr. Hajah Roziah Mohd Janor (Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia), Prof. Chwen-Tzang Su (National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan), Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman, M.Hum. (Universitas Negeri Semarang, Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina P., M.A. (Universitas Hasanuddin, Indonesia), and Dr. Muryanto Amin (Universitas Sumatra Utara, Indonesia), Dr. Hendi Pratama, M.A. (Universitas Negeri Semarang, Indonesia) and the discussion forum was guided by Sandy Arief, S.Pd., M.Sc.
The speakers shared the discussion of current issues related to higher education, developing excellent higher education through mutual collaboration, and implementing the planned action among networking universities.
