Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Melaka together with Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) signed a Cooperation Agreement in the framework of the International Internship Program for students. The signing was carried out at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Melaka on Thursday, 5/2.
The signing of this cooperation was carried out by Klaus Sennik as General Manager of Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Melaka and Head of International Office of UNNES Intan Permata Hapsari MPd. Also witnessed the signing of the cooperation between Mohammad Farid Ma’ruf PhD as Education and Culture Attaché of the Republic of Indonesia Kuala Lumpur.
Intan Permata Hapsari MPd said, UNNES students who interned at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Melaka, after graduating from the internship they would receive a special certificate. The certificate is recognized by various international hotel networks. Through the apprenticeship program at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Melaka will shape the capabilities and professionalism of students ready for work.
“Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Melaka is a five-star international hotel managed by Wyndham Hotel Group. This hotel is located in the heart of Malacca City. “From today’s discussion, Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Melaka requested that UNNES students be prepared to take part in an internship program from the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Food and Clothing Study Program, and Faculty of Language and Art, English Study Program and Dance Study Program,” stated Intan Permata.
Rector of UNNES Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman said, UNNES would try to open employment opportunities for students and alumni. Through the signing of this cooperation agreement, it opens opportunities for UNNES students to benefit from international-class hospitality system education with 5-star service standards.
“Through the apprenticeship program, students are expected to get provision for the real working world. Students can have the opportunity to experience the working world directly, implement the knowledge, learn the work process in the internship environment, can interact directly with businessmen, and obtain international class competency certificates,” said Prof. Fathur Rokhman.
