Tumbuhkan Jiwa Sciencepreneur, Mahasiswa Kimia FMIPA UNNES Gelar Chempreneur Fest 2026

Rumpun Kimia FMIPA Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) yang terdiri atas Program Studi Kimia dan Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia menggelar Chempreneur Fest 2026 bertajuk Science to Market di halaman Gedung D3 dan D4 FMIPA UNNES.

Kegiatan ini menjadi bagian dari implementasi pembelajaran kewirausahaan yang memberikan pengalaman nyata kepada mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan dan memasarkan produk inovatif pada Selasa (9/6).

Sebanyak 63 tim mahasiswa turut berpartisipasi, terdiri atas 30 tim mahasiswa Program Studi Kimia Semester 4 dan 33 tim mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia Semester 2. Berbagai produk hasil kreativitas mahasiswa dipamerkan, di antaranya aneka dimsum, parfum, gantungan kunci, olahan ubi, serta aneka makanan, minuman, dan produk kreatif lainnya.

Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari mata kuliah kewirausahaan yang diampu oleh Prof. Dr. Sri Susilogati, M.Si. dan Endah Fitriani Rahayu, S.Si., M.Sc. Melalui Chempreneur Fest, mahasiswa belajar tidak hanya menciptakan produk, tetapi juga menyusun strategi pemasaran, berkomunikasi dengan konsumen, bekerja sama dalam tim, serta mengevaluasi hasil penjualan.

Prof. Dr. Sri Susilogati, M.Si., menyampaikan bahwa Chempreneur Fest menjadi media pembelajaran yang menghubungkan ilmu kimia dengan dunia usaha.

“Mahasiswa tidak hanya belajar menghasilkan produk, tetapi juga mengembangkan kreativitas, inovasi, dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Harapannya, kegiatan ini dapat melahirkan sciencepreneur muda yang mampu memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat,” ujarnya.

Senada dengan itu, Endah Fitriani Rahayu, S.Si., M.Sc., mengapresiasi antusiasme mahasiswa selama kegiatan berlangsung.

“Pengalaman berinteraksi langsung dengan konsumen dan memasarkan produk menjadi bekal penting bagi mahasiswa untuk menghadapi dunia kerja maupun membangun usaha berbasis inovasi,” tuturnya.

Melalui tema Science to Market, Chempreneur Fest 2026 menunjukkan bahwa ilmu kimia dapat dihilirisasikan menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomi. Kegiatan ini juga mendukung pencapaian SDGs Tujuan 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) melalui penguatan budaya kewirausahaan serta SDGs Tujuan 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) dengan mendorong lahirnya inovasi produk berbasis sains yang memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut.

Melalui kegiatan ini, Rumpun Kimia FMIPA UNNES terus berkomitmen menghasilkan lulusan yang unggul dalam bidang sains, inovatif, dan berjiwa entrepreneur sehingga mampu memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi masyarakat dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.
