To strengthen collaboration with the industry in implementing academic programs and activities, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) signed a partnership with PT. Pertamina Lubricant. The signing took place on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, on the campus of Bank BNI 46 UNNES during the SERVICE JITU SEPEDA MOTOR event, held by the Faculty of Engineering UNNES.
The agreement was signed directly by the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Business, and International Relations, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus MT IPM, with the Head of Semarang Branch of PT. Pertamina Lubricant, while the IA cooperation document was signed by the Coordinators of the Study Programs in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering UNNES.
According to the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Business, and International Relations of UNNES, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus MT IPM, when giving a speech at the SERVICE JITU SEPEDA MOTOR event, academic cooperation implementation needs to be improved by collaborating with the industry and the world of work, one of which is with PT. Pertamina Lubricant, which supports academic activities of FT UNNES such as SERVICE JITU SEPEDA MOTOR.
Hanif Fajar, Senior Executive Marketing of PT. Pertamina Lubricant, stated that PT. Pertamina Lubricant supports the collaboration with Universitas Negeri Semarang. PT. Pertamina Lubricant has the same direction as UNNES in contributing to the development of human resources, including the students of the Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Negeri Semarang.
The signing ceremony during the opening of SERVICE JITU SEPEDA MOTOR was concluded with the beginning of a free motorcycle workshop for the community around UNNES.
The event was also attended by the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering, student representatives in the Department of Mechanical Engineering FT, the Coordinator of the Cooperation Division, the Domestic Cooperation Sub-Coordinator, and staff.
