Tim SENOPATI HYDROTEAM 1 FT UNNES Raih Juara COMET 7.0

Tim SENOPATI HYDROTEAM 1 Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Semarang berhasil meraih Juara 1 kategori BRC Mahasiswa Electrical Remote Control (ERC) pada ajang Competition of Maritime Education and Training (COMET) 7.0.

Kompetisi tersebut diselenggarakan oleh Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya pada 22–24 April 2026.

Tim SENOPATI HYDROTEAM 1 FT UNNES beranggotakan Haiqal Herdiansyah Putera, Muhammad Ikhsanul Hakim, Putra Febri Alfian, dan Abyan Kukuh Sunaryo.

Dalam kompetisi ini, tim dibimbing oleh Dr. Eng. Aldias Bahatmaka, S.T., M.T., M.Eng. dan Dr. Eng. Rizqi Fitri Naryanto, S.T., M.Eng.

COMET 7.0 tahun ini mengusung tema Development of Innovative and Efficient Fishing Vessels with Enhanced Safety Aspects to Support Indonesia’s Maritime Sector. Berdasarkan tema tersebut, kapal yang dikembangkan Tim SENOPATI HYDROTEAM 1 FT UNNES membawa inovasi yang didasarkan pada tiga pilar, yaitu keselamatan, efisiensi, dan ramah lingkungan.

Beberapa inovasi yang dikembangkan meliputi sistem pemantauan cuaca berbasis IoT, safety vest yang dilengkapi kamera untuk Anak Buah Kapal (ABK), sistem pendeteksi objek bawah laut berbasis sonar, serta visual zoning pada dek kapal.

Selain itu, tim juga mengembangkan penyimpanan palka yang didukung Refrigerated Sea Water (RSW) dan hybrid fuel system. Sistem tersebut menggabungkan tenaga listrik dari panel surya untuk sistem kelistrikan dan inovasi kapal, serta solar diesel sebagai pemasok energi untuk sistem propulsi kapal.

Dalam proses persiapan, tim menghadapi berbagai tantangan. Beberapa di antaranya ialah waktu yang terbatas, pembagian waktu dengan perkuliahan, serta proses menemukan setelan kapal yang tepat.

Tim juga menghadapi keterbatasan dana riset yang tidak sebesar tim lain. Namun, kondisi tersebut tidak menyurutkan semangat mereka untuk mengambil risiko dan berusaha meraih hasil terbaik.

Kerja sama, bonding, komunikasi, serta kemampuan saling memahami menjadi faktor penting yang mendukung keberhasilan tim dalam mengikuti kompetisi tersebut.

Dekan Fakultas Teknik UNNES, Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T., menyampaikan apresiasi atas capaian yang diraih Tim SENOPATI HYDROTEAM 1 FT UNNES.

“Prestasi ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik UNNES memiliki kemampuan untuk menghadirkan inovasi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan sektor maritim. Semoga capaian ini menjadi motivasi bagi mahasiswa lain untuk terus berkarya, berkolaborasi, dan mengembangkan teknologi yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat,” ujarnya.

Atas capaian ini, anggota tim merasa senang dan bangga karena kerja keras yang dilakukan selama persiapan berhasil membuahkan prestasi. Dosen pembimbing juga memberikan dukungan dan apresiasi atas pencapaian tersebut.

Prestasi ini diharapkan tidak menjadi pencapaian terbaik dan terakhir bagi Tim SENOPATI HYDROTEAM 1 FT UNNES. Ke depan, capaian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi motivasi untuk terus mengembangkan inovasi teknologi kapal nelayan Indonesia serta mendorong lahirnya prestasi baru di bidang kemaritiman.
