The Faculty of Engineering Having an Agreement with Djarum Foundation

Djarum Foundation never stop giving contribution for national education advancement. Their motto “Serving the Country” has been implemented substantially by facilitating the future generation to create various works. The signing of MoM between Dean of Engineering Faculty, Dr Nur Qudus MT and Director of Djarum Foundation Education Services, Primadi H Serad. This signing was witnessed by Vice Dean, Departement Officers and The Djarum Foundation Representative. Both sides hope this agreement would be an early step of good cooperation.
The Chairpersons of Engineering Faculty alongside with Head of Departments, Head of Laboratories, Head of Majors, and Teamwork Cluster visited some Djarum Foundation’s Vocational High School Development Partners in Kudus (28/2). The visit was accompanied by Director of Djarum Foundation Education Services himself and staffs.
The visit began with Wisudha Karya Vocational High School in Nautical, Marine Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Fakhrudin, as the Headmaster accompanied the visit. One of the attraction offered in this school is the availability of real-time ship navigating simulator room. This simulator is used for learning purposes as the intention of Djarum Foundation to give the best learning experiences.
Meanwhile, Fakhrudin also conveyed the message to UNNES’ Engineering Faculty that Wisudha Karya Vocational High School are ready to accept potential teacher coming from the faculty. Considering the human capital from this faculty massively needed to support the teaching process using humane approach. Fakhrudin and Dean of Engineering Faculty, Dr Nur Qudus MT then signed MoM as the readiness form of cooperation in both sides.
After Wisudha Karya, the next visit was NU Banat Vocational High School Kudus. Dressmaking is the prime program of this school, so that as UNNES sides arrived, students welcome the arrival with student-made-costume fashion show. Some student who performed happened to participate fashion show in Paris by the support of Djarum Foundation.
The third school was NU Ma’arif Vocational High School with Welding Engineering and Automation Engineering as Engineering Faculty target. Then, moving on to Vocational State High School 1 Kudus after lunch break. There Culinary is their prime program that gifted a restaurant and archipelago kitchen from Djarum Foundation and BNI banking. Lunch dishes-served is the creation from students in that school.
Then, the team continue the visit to PGRI 1 Vocational High School to make it the fourth. Tangria Beauty & Spa is the business unit under beauty program. The business unit was the present from Djarum Foundation while the management fully controlled by the school. The whole bureaucracy in Engineering Faculty guided by school representative to monitor various facilities for treatments in Tangria Beauty & Spa.
Closing the visit sequence in Kudus, Raden Umar Said Vocational High School named as final destination. Animation, Concept Arts, and Game Development becoming the prime programs in the school. RUS Studio is the place of various animation and game creation from students. Once again Djarum Foundation always try to give the best for their developing partners.
