In the THE Asia University Rankings 2025, UNNES is ranked 601+ in Asia. This ranking specifically measures the performance of Asian universities using indicators calibrated to reflect regional characteristics and contexts.

In the THE World University Rankings by Subject, UNNES is ranked 601+ globally in Education, while the field of Business and Economics is ranked 801+ globally. This subject-based ranking evaluates institutional strength within specific disciplines based on teaching, research, and academic impact.

In the THE Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2026, UNNES is ranked 601+. This ranking evaluates the capacity of higher education institutions to develop, support, and manage interdisciplinary research initiatives.

In the AppliedHE ASEAN University Ranking, UNNES achieved a rank of 73 in ASEAN. AppliedHE emphasizes teaching quality, graduate readiness, and institutional reputation within the Southeast Asian region.

In the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, UNNES is ranked 4th nationally and 28th globally. UI GreenMetric assesses universities’ commitment to environmental sustainability through indicators covering policy, infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, transportation, and education.

In the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability, UNNES is ranked 1001–1020 globally. QS WUR: Sustainability evaluates universities’ capacity to implement sustainability practices across social and environmental dimensions, as well as their responses to global sustainability challenges.

In the THE Impact Rankings, UNNES is placed in the 1501+ global . This ranking measures universities’ contributions to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through education, research, and community engagement.

In 2025, UNNES received the “Informative” designation in the national monitoring of public information disclosure. This recognition was awarded based on the 2025 Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Public Bodies conducted by the Central Information Commission of Indonesia (KIP), in acknowledgment of UNNES’s commitment to transparency and accountability in accordance with Law No. 14 of 2008.

From 2010 to 2025, UNNES consistently received an Unqualified Audit Opinion (Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian – WTP). This achievement reflects UNNES’s sustained commitment to sound institutional governance and financial accountability, supporting its aspiration to become a world-class university.

UNNES achieved 5th place nationally in the UNS Jawametrik Awards 2025. This recognition was awarded for UNNES’s significant contribution to the preservation of Javanese culture, particularly through the Javanese Language and Literature Education and Javanese Literature study programs.

Aligned with its vision as a Conservation-Oriented and Internationally Reputable University, UNNES has established a dedicated waste management facility and has been implementing integrated waste management practices since 2019.

As the central healthcare service facility of UNNES, the UNNES Primary Clinic received the highest accreditation status, “Paripurna,” from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in December 2023.
