Biography

Prof. Dr. Wara Dyah Pita Rengga, S.T., M.T. is a Professor in Chemical Engineering. She was appointed as a Full Professor in 2020. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she actively conducts research focusing on topics such as adsorption, biofuels, bio-additives, nanoparticle materials, and polymers. She currently serves as the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the UNNES Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), ensuring the quality of research and community service activities at the institution. She has also served as a national detaser (visiting professor) in 2021, 2022, and 2023.  

Prof. Wara Dyah Pita Rengga has been mentoring students in scientific research since 2011 and will continue until 2025. Since 2018, she has been a supervisor for Student Creativity Program (PKM) participants, guiding students who have won multiple medals at the National Student Science Week (PIMNAS). She has also mentored students in the P2MW program and was awarded the title of Best National Entrepreneurship Mentor at KMI 2024.   Her work has led to multiple patents, utility models, industrial designs, and registered trademarks. One of her notable innovations is a milk sterilization device (recognized as the Best Lecturer Innovator by LPPM UNNES in 2022), designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) extend the shelf life of dairy products. Through her various roles and contributions, she has had a significant impact on education, research, and community service.
