Biography

Prof. Dr. Sutikno, S.T., M.T. is a Professor in the field of Material Physics. As an expert in Material Physics, he focuses on research and development in materials, emphasizing the processing of natural and waste materials—both organic and inorganic—into environmentally friendly functional materials. His research includes the utilization of organic natural materials from plants with suitable physical and chemical properties for sensor fabrication, batteries, solar cells, and photoresists.  

Beyond microelectronic device fabrication, Prof. Dr. Sutikno, S.T., M.T. has developed products such as composite brake pads, biodegradable plastics, fire bricks, and stove insulators. His research and development are not only aimed at increasing economic value but also at providing solutions to societal challenges, particularly waste management and sedimentation issues.  

Additionally, he has been extensively involved in drafting regulations related to faculty resource management at the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemendiktisaintek) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag). He also serves as an Assessor for Academic Promotion and as an application developer. His long-term vision includes integrated, comprehensive, and sustainable management of natural resources and the environment.
