In the same year, a competitive DRPM research studied the development of APM (Manipulative Teaching Aids) and its learning until 2009.

Additional roles reinforcing her research and community service, alongside her teaching duties, include serving as Head of the Mathematics Laboratory (1999–2003), being part of the APM design development team for the Directorate of TK-SD in 2004, and in 2005 being entrusted as the head of the APM learning trial research team in five provinces in collaboration between UNNES and the Directorate of TK-SD. She served as a national instructor for the Mathematics Education Quality Improvement Programme (MEQIP) in 2006. Consistently focusing on the development of APM and its learning processes, she carried out the RAPID-DRPM research (2015–2017) and the National Strategic Research (PUSN) with an individual APM innovation to support the development of higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in mathematics learning for children (2018–2020).

She also developed the virtualization of manipulatives through Kedaireka funding in 2022 and deepened the application of concrete–visual–virtual manipulatives in learning to strengthen children’s thinking through applied research funding (2021–2024). She has served as a resource person in seminars and workshops “Create Your Media” organized by the Mathematics Education Student Association at other higher education institutions, and as a facilitator in the “Regular Course on Teacher-Made Mathematics Teaching Aids for Primary School Teachers” organized by the SEAMEO Regional Centre for QITEP in Mathematics in 2022.
