Biography

As an expert in Nutrition and Health – Nutrigenomics, Prof. Dr. Ari Yuniastuti, M.Kes. is interested in conducting research based on Nutrigenomics. Comprehensive nutrition research based on Nutrigenomics and public health, aimed at reducing and preventing stunting, conducted through RIIM-BRIN funding, shows that nutrition greatly influences health, particularly the specific role of nutrition in regulating gene expression. Based on each individual’s genetic code, consumption patterns can be predicted to optimize the expression of certain genes, which will affect human health. In addition, Prof. Ari Yuniastuti also conducts various studies on bioactive compounds from plants beneficial for health, as well as research on the halal status of food products.
