As part of the reciprocal international collaboration between Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) and Kasetsart University, Thailand, UNNES held an audience session under the Lantip International Inbound program. The event, which took place on Monday, April 14, 2025, in the vicon of the Rectorate Building, was attended by six students from Kasetsart University along with their accompanying lecturer, Dr. Kulthida Nugulthampada. This activity marks the implementation of a reciprocal international partnership between UNNES and Kasetsart University.
In her remarks, the Head of the Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance (LPPP) UNNES, Prof. Dr. Rodiyah, S.Pd., S.H., M.Si., conveyed two key points. First, the Lantip International program is a concrete manifestation of the reciprocal collaboration that has been established between the two institutions since 2016. Second, Prof. Rodiyah expressed her hope that this program will continue in the coming years with other collaborative activities that are mutually beneficial.
The Lantip International Inbound program will run for 21 days, focusing on academic engagement and cultural exchange. The participating students will attend courses in study programs aligned with their academic backgrounds, as follows:
- Pitchayaporn Srathongno – Mathematics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA)
- Pemika Phumporn – Science Education, FMIPA
- Sutthicha Preesamut – Science Education, FMIPA
- Yada Pewjumthongdee – Science Education, FMIPA
- Thanika Khamnuch – English Education, Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS)
- Punnapak Wongchote – Physical Education, Health, and Recreation (PJKR), Faculty of Sports Science (FIK)
The audience session was also attended by the Secretary of LPPP, Vice Deans I of FMIPA and FIPP, Heads of SDGs Center and Office of International Affairs, Secretary of the Office of International Affairs, and supporting staff of the program.
In addition to the Lantip program, the collaboration between UNNES and Kasetsart University also encompasses joint research and scientific publications by lecturers from FMIPA and FIPP. These activities demonstrate UNNES’ strong commitment to expanding its international network and enhancing academic quality on a global scale.
