UNNES Computer Lab is the Venue for Computer Assisted Test (CAT) PPPK for Semarang City and Demak Regency
A total of 1296 participants registered for the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) PPPK held at the UNNES Computer Lab for two days, Monday (20/3) to Tuesday (21/3). The test was followed by 681 candidates for PPPK employees from Semarang City and 615 candidates for Demak Regency.
The CAT test was conducted with the help of computers and designed to measure participants’ abilities in various fields, such as verbal, numerical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. In the implementation of this test, UNNES provided 884 PCs, consisting of core PCs and backup PCs. The total number of PCs used in each session was 400.
The cooperation between UNNES and related institutions in the use of CAT technology is expected to help improve the quality of education and assessment in related institutions and prepare the workforce to compete in an increasingly competitive job market. It is hoped that through the use of CAT technology, it will benefit all parties and help create a qualified workforce.
