Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Negeri Semarang (FISIP UNNES) terus memperkuat kontribusinya terhadap pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) melalui kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Salah satunya dilakukan tim Geografi FISIP UNNES melalui program “Penguatan Ekosistem Pariwisata Lokal: Pendekatan Kolaboratif untuk Pemberdayaan Pokdarwis Desa Sidomukti, Kabupaten Semarang.”

Program yang dipimpin Prof. Dr. Eva Banowati, M.Si. tersebut diarahkan untuk memperkuat kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengelola potensi lokal menjadi kegiatan ekonomi yang lebih produktif. Desa Sidomukti, Kecamatan Bandungan, memiliki potensi berupa bentang alam pegunungan, kebun bunga mawar, pertanian daun bawang, hingga aktivitas wisata yang berkembang di kawasan lereng Gunung Ungaran. Namun, berbagai potensi tersebut belum seluruhnya dikemas menjadi produk wisata yang mampu memberikan nilai tambah bagi masyarakat.

Melalui program pengabdian ini, FISIP UNNES memberikan bantuan non-tunai berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Bentuk kegiatan meliputi pengenalan konsep green economy, penguatan kelembagaan Pokdarwis, pemetaan potensi wisata, penyusunan paket wisata, praktik lapangan, hingga fasilitasi pemasaran secara luring dan daring. Pendekatan tersebut diharapkan membuat masyarakat tidak hanya menjadi penonton perkembangan pariwisata di wilayahnya, tetapi juga mampu terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan ekonomi yang tumbuh dari potensi desa.

Sebanyak 25 warga tercatat sebagai peserta langsung kegiatan, terutama anggota Linmas yang terlibat dalam penguatan Pokdarwis Desa Sidomukti. Jumlah tersebut tercatat dalam daftar hadir peserta kegiatan pada dokumentasi program.

Salah satu hasil nyata dari pendampingan tersebut adalah tersusunnya paket wisata satu hari atau one day tour berbasis potensi Desa Sidomukti. Paket wisata dirancang dengan menghubungkan sejumlah potensi lokal, mulai dari kebun bunga mawar, kebun daun bawang, kuliner khas desa, hingga kunjungan ke kawasan Umbul Sidomukti dan Bandungan. Dengan pengemasan tersebut, aktivitas pertanian yang sebelumnya hanya menghasilkan komoditas utama dapat dikembangkan pula menjadi atraksi wisata yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tambahan.

Pengembangan paket wisata juga membuka ruang bagi munculnya berbagai aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat, seperti jasa pemandu, penyediaan makanan dan minuman, penjualan produk lokal, transportasi, hingga promosi wisata. Dalam laporan kegiatan disebutkan bahwa pengembangan ecopreneurship diharapkan dapat memperkuat ekonomi lokal sekaligus membuka peluang kerja bagi masyarakat pedesaan.

Program tersebut didukung pendanaan sebesar Rp.6.000.000 dari DPA FISIP UNNES Tahun 2025. Dana tersebut merupakan nilai keseluruhan program pengabdian yang digunakan untuk mendukung rangkaian kegiatan pemberdayaan dan pendampingan masyarakat, bukan bantuan uang tunai yang dibagikan kepada peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan motivasi peserta. Sejumlah indikator pemahaman dan keterampilan berada pada kisaran 70 hingga 85 persen, sementara laporan program secara umum mencatat peningkatan kapasitas pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta sekitar 78–85 persen.

Prof. Dr. Eva Banowati, M.Si. bersama tim berharap penguatan kapasitas tersebut dapat mendorong Pokdarwis dan masyarakat Desa Sidomukti semakin mandiri dalam mengenali, mengemas, dan memasarkan potensi desanya. Pengembangan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat diharapkan tidak hanya meningkatkan daya tarik desa, tetapi juga menciptakan peluang ekonomi yang dapat dinikmati langsung oleh masyarakat setempat.
