Description

 

The Curriculum Development Study Program is offered by the Faculty of Education and Psychological Sciences (FIPP) at Semarang State University. The program aims to produce education masters with expertise in curriculum development and educational technology. This study program enables graduates to create education and training curricula. They can develop a curriculum plan, design learning activities to implement the curriculum, and conduct research on curriculum development and learning from a scientific and empirical perspective.

To become a study programme with comparative and competitive advantages in the field of curriculum development and learning that can contribute to efforts to improve the quality of educational resources.
7 Missions

a.   To organise quality education and learning based on adult learning principles and applied educational technology while maintaining character.

b.   To conduct research aimed at developing scientific discipline and praxis in the field of curriculum and learning..

c.    To carry out community service activities in an effort to help overcome curriculum problems and improve the quality of learning.

8 Objectives

a.   To produce graduates who are competent in curriculum development and learning practices based on excellent academic skills and character.

b.   To produce graduates who are competent as researchers in the field of curriculum and learning.

c.    To offer professional guidance to the community and other stakeholders in the areas of curriculum and learning.

Profile Description
Curriculum developer of education and/or training programmes Designer, developer, and evaluator of curricula for education and/or training programmes.
Learning technology Developer and manager of learning systems through the creation, utilisation, and management of processes, technology, and various learning resources.
Learning Practitioner Learning organisers who apply approaches, models and strategies in an interactive, innovative, inspiring manner supported by the utilisation of various relevant learning resources.
Researcher in curriculum and learning Analysing curriculum and learning issues for scientific development and pedagogic praxis as well as disseminating the results.
