The Excellent Accreditation indicates that the quality of the Educational Technology Program meets international standards. Accredited by BAN-PT starting from 2022 for the next 5 years.
The Educational Technology Program features a Multimedia Laboratory equipped with 12 state-of-the-art Intel processor desktop computers, advanced presentation devices, 64-inch smart TVs in each laboratory and lecture room, and a recording studio. All these facilities are frequently used by students for practical lectures, research, and creating digital content in air-conditioned comfort.
There is also an Animation and Graphics Laboratory, equipped with air conditioning, high-speed internet facilities, work desks with stable electrical power, and Adobe Creative Cloud and 3D Studio Max software for creating interactive animation content, edutainment games, and graphic design. This laboratory is equipped with a sound system and a 64-inch smart TV.
The Podcast Laboratory is the busiest production laboratory, featuring a recording studio with a professional mixing console, advanced microphones, soundproof rooms, flexible green screens, and a live podcast setting for creating digital audio and video content.
The Educational Technology Program has a library that provides a complete collection of books, journals, and the latest theses. It also includes an air-conditioned reading room supported by stable electrical resources and fast wifi for online research needs and library reference searches.
The Educational Technology Program has collaborated with renowned industries such as e-guru, PLN, My Edusolve, and many more to provide students with experiences in creating digital educational content. In addition to industries, the program also collaborates with government institutions such as the Central Java provincial government, BPSDMD Central Java Province, the police academy, the military academy, the Semarang city education department, BPBG Central Java, and many more.
According to alumni tracking, many graduates have become developers of digital educational technology applications and curriculum developers in various major institutions in Indonesia.
Collaborative programs with foreign universities have been initiated by the Educational Technology Program in Asia, Europe, and America. Currently, the program is preparing student exchanges through short courses or regular programs to 10 developed countries such as Finland, Denmark, and Australia. Through this program, the Educational Technology Program hopes to provide many opportunities for scholarships for master’s programs in the top 100-200 universities globally.
