Semarang – The Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Semarang State University (UNNES) held a socialization of the Technical Guidelines for Lecturer Professional and Career Development Services on Friday (July 31, 2026) in the 3rd Floor of the FIPP Dean’s Hall. All lecturers at FIPP UNNES participated in the event as part of an effort to increase understanding of the latest policies regarding lecturer career development.

This socialization refers to the Decree of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 39/M/KEP/2026 concerning Technical Guidelines for Lecturer Professional and Career Development Services. Through this activity, lecturers received information about service mechanisms, competency development, and various provisions that serve as guidelines for managing lecturer careers in higher education.

The resource person was Rizal Satria Nugroho, A.Md. from the Directorate of General Affairs and Human Resources, who presented the substance of the policy and its implementation in higher education. In their presentations, the speakers explained various aspects of lecturer professional development services, from administrative procedures and academic career development to compliance with the latest regulations established by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology.

The event was interactive, with discussions and a question-and-answer session. Lecturers took advantage of this opportunity to obtain clarification on policy implementation, which is expected to support more focused academic career planning and development.

Through this outreach activity, FIPP UNNES demonstrated its commitment to supporting the improvement of human resource quality, particularly lecturers, through a comprehensive understanding of national regulations. With the dissemination of these technical guidelines, it is hoped that lecturer professional and career development services within FIPP UNNES will operate effectively, transparently, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
