SEMARANG – The Faculty of Law at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) is officially opening its doors to the global academic community by launching the Global Law Indonesia (GLI) 2026 program. This initiative offers a unique opportunity for international participants to engage in a global learning experience within one of the world’s most diverse legal landscapes.

Carrying the grand theme “Understanding Legal Diversity and Living Law in the World’s Largest Archipelago,” the GLI 2026 program invites students from around the world. Participants are encouraged to deeply explore Indonesia’s rich and dynamic legal traditions. This provides a rare chance to understand the living law and customary practices that continue to thrive alongside positive law in the country.
The implementation of this cross-cultural academic exchange strongly supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework.
