SEMARANG – The Faculty of Law at Semarang State University (UNNES) has once again proven its real commitment to sustainable community service. On June 11, 2026, representatives from FH UNNES were present on-site to support the community and the officials of Lerep Village, Semarang Regency, during the interview assessment for the National Quality Family Village Competition.
This prestigious assessment activity organized by the Central Ministry of Population and Family Development (Kemendukbangga) is an extraordinary achievement for Lerep Village. Successfully reaching the national stage wouldn’t have been possible without the synergy and intensive assistance that has been consistently provided by the university institution, especially FH UNNES.
The faculty leadership stated that FH UNNES’s presence in this interview process is not just about moral support, but is a form of responsibility under the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This strategic collaboration is a concrete way of creating synergy between the academic world and grassroots communities to build Indonesian families that are quality, resilient, and highly competitive in the face of today’s challenges.
Furthermore, this village mentoring initiative reflects FH UNNES’s active support for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The implementation of the “Quality Family Village” program directly promotes community welfare in line with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). In addition, this close collaboration is a successful representation of SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
Through the efforts of ‘Impactful Moving Campus,’ FH UNNES hopes that this mentoring model in Lerep Village can become a pioneer as well as an inspiration for family and village development across Indonesia.
