EMARANG – The Faculty of Law at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) continues to implement strategic measures to ensure the quality of education aligns with the needs of the legal profession. On June 18, 2026, the Faculty of Law officially hosted a visit from the leadership of PERADI Profesional in Semarang.
This warm and productive meeting aimed to explore opportunities for institutional cooperation between academia and legal practitioners. Faculty leadership stated that the primary focus of this synergy encompasses three key areas of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education): education, research, and the development of practical competencies for students.
This collaboration is expected to strengthen the foundation of legal education quality at the Faculty of Law, ensuring it remains relevant to the challenges and demands of the modern legal profession. Furthermore, the partnership is believed to accelerate the development of law graduates who are outstanding, professional, and uphold high standards of integrity.
This initiative to strengthen institutional capacity also represents a tangible commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The synergy with this advocates’ professional association directly contributes to achieving SDG 4 (Quality Education) by aligning the curriculum with field practices; SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by producing future law enforcement professionals with integrity; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through robust cross-sector collaboration.
