SEMARANG STATE UNIVERSITY OPENS NON-CIVIL SERVANT FIXED-TERM EMPLOYEE POSITIONS FOR 2026
[Semarang, 12 January 2026] – Semarang State University (UNNES) is offering opportunities for qualified professional educators to join as Non-Civil Servant Fixed-Term Employees for the 2026 fiscal year. According to Official Announcement Number: B/1756/UN37/KP.04.00/2026, several openings are available within the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS).
Available Positions in FBS:
FBS is opening several lecturer positions, including:
English Education Lecturer (Code: D9) – 1 position
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English Education, Linguistics (English), Applied Linguistics (English), or Humanities (English Field).
Special Requirements: Preferred candidates hold a Master’s degree in English Education, TESOL/TEFL/TESL, English Language Teaching, Applied Linguistics, or Translation & Interpreting. Priority for those currently pursuing or holding a Doctoral degree (S3) in Language Education Sciences, English Education, Translation, or English Interpreting.
English Literature Lecturer (Code: D10) – 1 position
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English Literature.
Special Requirements: Master’s degree in English Literature or Linguistics (English). Preference for graduates from overseas universities and those holding a Doctoral degree (S3) in English Literature or English Linguistics.
Fine Arts Lecturer (Code: D11) – 1 position
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or Visual Communication Design.
Special Requirements: Master’s degree in Arts or Design. Priority for graduates with a Doctoral degree (S3) in Fine Arts or Design.
Fine Arts Education Lecturer (Code: D12) – 1 position
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts Education.
Special Requirements: Master’s degree in Arts Education. Priority for graduates with a Doctoral degree (S3) in Arts Education.
Mandarin Language Education Lecturer (Code: D13) – 2 positions
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin Language Education or Mandarin Literature.
Special Requirements: Master’s degree in Mandarin Language Education or Mandarin Literature. Priority for graduates with a Doctoral degree (S3) in Mandarin Language Education, Linguistics, or Mandarin Literature.
General Applicant Requirements:
Indonesian citizen, devoted to God Almighty, loyal and obedient to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
Maximum age of 35 years for Master’s graduates and 40 years for Doctoral graduates as of 1 March 2026.
Physically and mentally healthy, with no involvement in narcotics or addictive substance abuse.
Good moral integrity and no criminal record based on a court decision with permanent legal force.
Not a member or administrator of a political party.
Willing to be appointed as a Fixed-Term Employee.
Special Requirements and Registration Procedure:
Applicants must submit a handwritten application letter addressed to the Rector of UNNES, along with supporting documents such as ID card, diplomas & academic transcripts, study program accreditation certificates, a recent formal photograph with a red background, and a curriculum vitae. Applicants must also sign a sealed statement letter (Rp10,000 stamp duty) declaring no contractual ties with other institutions. Registration is conducted online via https://rekrutmen.unnes.ac.id from January 12 to 30, 2026. The entire selection process is free of charge.
Selection Stages:
The selection process will include the following stages: Administrative Screening (1-6 Feb), Basic Competency Test (18-24 Feb), ToPEL Test (26 Feb-4 Mar), Field Competency Test/Microteaching & Interview (5-9 Mar), and Psychological Test (10-13 Mar). The final announcement is scheduled for 6 April 2026.
