In Javanese tradition, “sangkan paraning dumadi” (the origin and destination of creation) is not just a philosophical concept. It is a reflective invitation to ask again: who are we, where do we come from, and where will we return? This discussion serves as a space for spiritual and cultural dialogue amidst the excitement of Eid al-Fitr, which is often trapped in symbols and ceremonies. (DHZ)
