Prof. Ratna Dewi Kusumaningtyas focuses her research on process system engineering and optimization, particularly in the development of renewable energy and the conversion of bioresources into high-value products. Her work includes the synthesis, application, and optimization of renewable energy sources such as biodiesel and biopellets. Through her research, she has pioneered innovations in process intensification for biodiesel production, including reactive-distillation processes, ultrasound-assisted biodiesel production, enzymatic reactions, and glycerol-free biodiesel synthesis. Additionally, she has developed biomass-coal pellets as solid fuels for domestic and industrial use. In the field of bioresources engineering, she actively researches the encapsulation of natural bioactive compounds and the enhancement of organo-mineral fertilizers.
Prof. Dr. Sri Susilogati Sumarti, M.Si., holds a Doctorate in Educational Management from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) and specializes in Entrepreneurship-Based Learning Management. She was awarded the title of Professor in Learning Management in 2020. She teaches courses in School Management, Laboratory Management, Chemistry Education Management, Entrepreneurship, and Learning Evaluation and Strategies.
Prof. Dr. Bambang Haryadi completed his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang (1989). He earned his Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a Expertise in Transportation Engineering from Auburn University, Alabama, USA (1993-1995) and participated in the International Association of Traffic and Safety Sciences (IATSS) Forum in Suzuka, Japan (April-June 1996). He obtained his Doctorate in Civil Engineering, specializing in Transportation Engineering, from Universitas Diponegoro (2011) and was appointed Professor in Transportation Engineering in 2014.
Prof. Dr. Ida Zulaeha, M.Hum., is a Professor of Indonesian Language Education with expertise in Indonesian linguistics and language education. She conducts research on the synchronic and diachronic development of regional languages in Indonesia, focusing on dialectology. Additionally, she examines language retention and shifts within sociolinguistic studies and applies linguistic research findings to the innovation of teaching materials and learning models for Indonesian language and literature, including Indonesian as a Foreign Language (BIPA). Her expertise is validated by her roles as a Board Expert of the Indonesian Experts and Lecturers Association (ADRI) and the Indonesian Research Methodology Lecturers Association (IRMLA) for the 2022–2027 period.
Prof. Dr. Dr. Wardono, M.Si. is a professor specializing in the development of mathematics learning. As an expert in Mathematics Education, he focuses on the development of innovative learning strategies to enhance mathematical literacy (numeracy), particularly aligned with the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). He has published numerous articles in nationally and internationally recognized journals, covering various aspects of innovative learning, including instructional models, learning approaches, teaching methods, instructional media, and e-learning management, all aimed at improving mathematical literacy. He has presented his research findings at national and international conferences, such as ICMSE in Indonesia, UiTM Malaysia, and international webinars organized by NTHU Taiwan. His contributions to the advancement of mathematical literacy, particularly in alignment with PISA standards, are realized through the development of creative and innovative mathematics education approaches.
As an expert in Social Geography, Prof. Eva is interested in human activities across landscapes in fulfilling life’s needs. Her research focuses on the forms of livelihoods and their development that are functionally interconnected within an adaptive and innovative community without harming nature. She was awarded the Top Lecturer Ranking at Universitas Negeri Semarang in 2012.
As an expert in Educational Psychology, Prof. Dr. Edy Purwanto, M.Si. has conducted research on the essential elements of achievement motivation based on leading motivational theories, successfully developing the “Trisula Motivation Model: A New Synthesis of Achievement Motivation Theory.” The research findings have been presented at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and at UBD Brunei Darussalam. He is currently engaged in a QS 100 research collaboration with Kelly Anne from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, on the Sense of Belonging among students, aimed at improving their mental health and well-being.
As an expert in plant tissue culture, Prof. Dr. Noor Aini Habibah focuses on secondary metabolite production using tissue culture methods in various Indonesian native plants. She has conducted extensive research on the secondary metabolite production of medicinal plants through plant tissue culture methods, including kepel (Stelechocarpus burahol) and rejasa (Vernonia amygdalina).
Prof. Dr. Murbangun Nuswowati, M.Si. is a Professor in Chemistry Education. As an expert in innovative chemistry learning, she has a strong interest in various teaching models and their applications in advanced technology. She analyzes the difficulties faced by students and teachers in achieving the expected competencies. She actively engages prospective teachers, educators, and the community in addressing environmental issues by encouraging them to enhance their knowledge, instill values, and develop skills related to chemistry education.
Prof. Dr. Dwi Yuwono Puji Sugiharto, M.Pd., Kons., is a professor in the field of Guidance and Counseling. As an expert in this field, he specializes in strength-based counseling. His research and publications focus on leveraging individuals’ positive potential as a foundation for behavioral development, problem prevention, and solutions. His approach contributes to a counseling paradigm that is not solely problem-focused but rather emphasizes individuals’ strengths and solutions.
Priyantini Widiyaningrum is an expert in Animal Ecophysiology. Her research focuses on techniques for controlling pest insects using biorational insecticides (bioinsecticides) and also examines alternative aspects of insects, such as their utilization as waste degraders or as a source of protein for livestock/pets.
Professor Widiyanto is an expert in entrepreneurship education who has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications and discoveries. He has authored several widely referenced books, including Innovation in Economics Learning, Entrepreneurship: My Choice, and Understanding the Business World (Introduction to Business). His scholarly work has been published in prestigious academic journals such as the Journal of Women’s Entrepreneurship and Education (2023) and the Corporate Governance and Organizational Behavior Review (2023). His expertise is further demonstrated through his role as a speaker and mentor for MSMEs in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries and Marine Affairs. Prof. Dr. Martitah, M.Hum, is a Full Professor specializing in Constitutional Law. As an expert in Constitutional Law, she is interested in issues and developments in Indonesian law and in comparative studies of international legal developments. Indonesian law, including the drafting of regulations from Acts, Government Regulations, Presidential Regulations, and Regional Regulations, as well as Constitutional Court proceedings in the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia, Regional Autonomy Law, and General Elections Law (for Presidential, Legislative, and Regional elections), are among her areas of interest. Currently, the trend is moving toward Electronic Government, especially in public services where digital systems are increasingly used (for example, in the issuance of ID cards, tax payments, employee registrations, and also in teaching in schools and universities, as well as in various court hearings at District Courts, High Courts, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court, Administrative Courts, or Religious Courts).
Prof. Dr. Amin Retnoningsih is committed to leveraging Indonesia’s rich plant genetic resources, particularly perennial fruit crops, to ensure their conservation and promote their economic and social benefits. Her research emphasizes the importance of superior fruit varieties, helping consumers recognize their value and enabling Indonesian fruits to compete internationally. She conducts explorations across Indonesia to identify new potential elite varieties for mass cultivation. Collaborating with relevant agencies, she registers new plant varieties (PVT), benefiting both communities and local governments. Molecular approaches strengthen the identification and utilization of Indonesia’s diverse plant genetic resources for further breeding and development of superior varieties.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jazuli is a dedicated observer, thinker, and researcher in the field of arts and culture, particularly in performing arts. His primary focus is on the relationship between performing arts as a symbolic medium of cultural values and the communities that uphold traditions, customs, and environmental norms. The interpretation of values, ethical norms, and environmental awareness through symbolic expressions in performing arts is crucial in maintaining a harmonious society.
Prof. Dr. Sarwi, M.Si. is a Professor in Physics/Science Education. As an expert in this field, he has conducted extensive research and published scientific works in national and international journals, as well as in academic forums, many of which have received copyright protection. His research covers various topics, including inquiry-based physics learning, physics assessment, multiple representations in physics, the development of ethnoscience-based teaching materials, academic leadership, and learning climate. His work has led to patents in the fields of innovative physics education and integrated science based on ethnoscience. He has also been involved in the management of nationally accredited scientific journals and has played a key role in establishing the Doctoral Program in Basic Education at UNNES.
Adhi Kusumastuti received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2014. She is currently a Professor of Textile Chemistry at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang. Her research interests include green technologies such as natural dye production and its utilization for DSSC and textiles, waste treatment, biofuel, etc. She is highly qualified in research and has secured many funding grants. She has published numerous articles in reputable international journals and proceedings.
Prof. Bambang Priyono, M.Pd., is an academic and practitioner in education, focusing on physical education and character development through sports. He is known for his active research in various aspects of physical education, including character values and students’ perceptions of physical education teachers. One of his notable studies, “Character Values in Traditional Martial Arts Gongcik,” was published in the Global Journal of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences in 2024. This research explores how traditional martial arts contribute to character development in students.
Prof. Heri Yanto completed his undergraduate degree at IKIP Semarang (Universitas Negeri Semarang). He then pursued his Master’s degree in Business Administration at Troy University, Alabama, USA. His doctoral program was completed at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. As a professor, Prof. Heri has conducted extensive research and publications in the fields of Accounting Education, Cost Accounting, Behavioral Accounting, and Environmental Accounting. He has considerable experience teaching Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Organizational Behavior, and Strategic Management. In addition to his academic expertise, Prof. Heri has also served as an educational consultant for projects funded by JICA (Japan), USAID (USA), and NCEE (USA). He has participated in training programs in Economics Education organized by NCEE in Belarus, Romania, Ukraine, and Lithuania. Prof. Heri has also participated in the Economics Educator Exchange Program in the USA twice.
Prof. Dr. Setya Rahayu, M.S., is a distinguished professor in Sports Health Science, specializing in the development of exercise programs to support both physical and mental health. With extensive experience in academia and research, she is recognized for her contributions to evidence-based strategies aimed at enhancing public fitness and preventing diseases through physical activity.
Prof. Dr. Heri Tjahjono, M.Si. is an expert in soil geography, landslides, applied GIS for regional disaster management, spatial planning for landslide-prone areas, landslide disaster management, and soil drought studies. Since 2006, he has been involved in spatial planning projects using Quick Bird satellite imagery in Tegal City. From 2007 to 2008, he worked on spatial planning in Temanggung Regency, which later became a model for regional spatial planning in Central Java. Between 2009 and 2013, he conducted extensive mapping projects in Temanggung Regency, including rice field mapping, community forest mapping, Sustainable Food Agricultural Land (LP2B) mapping, and tourism master plan mapping.
Prof. Dr. Dyah Rini Indriyanti, M.P., is a Professor in Entomology. Her research focuses on insects and integrated pest management, particularly eco-friendly pest control methods. One of her key studies explores biological control of insects using Metarhizium sp. and Beauveria bassiana. The insect species she has studied include Bactrocera sp., Plutella xylostella, Oryctes rhinoceros, and Helopeltis sp. In addition to her research, she is actively involved in academic publishing as an editor for the Scopus-indexed journal Biosaintifika and the SINTA-indexed Journal of Community Empowerment (JCE).
Prof. Dr. Juhadi, M.Si is an academic and researcher in the field of geography, specializing in disaster mitigation and ecological anthropology. As a professor at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), he is actively engaged in research and community service, particularly in developing disaster mitigation technologies based on IoT and artificial intelligence. He has authored several books and obtained multiple copyrights for innovations in geospatial studies and disaster education.
As an expert in Educational Technology, Professor Haryono is interested in various efforts to facilitate learning and improve performance through the development, utilization, and management of diverse technological resources and processes. He has developed learning models to enhance students’ creativity and critical thinking, models of science process skills-based learning to improve science achievement in terms of product, process, and attitude, and the implementation of the functional position of Educational Technology Developer (PTP) to improve the quality of education in schools (learning units). These are some of the tangible contributions from his expertise in education.
Professor in the field of Non-formal Education Management. As an expert in Non-formal Education Management, Prof. Joko Sutarto is interested in optimizing the determinants of quality in non-formal education services through management approaches. The stages he has developed to optimize non-formal education program activities begin with a needs and problem analysis, followed by design, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up, which is a continuous cycle ensuring that the performance of non-formal education programs is effective and efficient. He has also authored several reference books, with his latest titled Assessment of Community Needs.
As a Professor of Psycholinguistics, Prof. Dr. Subyantoro actively engages in various academic activities aligned with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. His contributions include the development of course materials in psycholinguistics, language learning and acquisition, language proficiency development, and research methodologies in Indonesian language and literature. He also conducts research in language education and provides training and seminars on professional development for educators. Leveraging his expertise in psycholinguistics, he has introduced several new courses in the Indonesian Language and Literature program, including Speech Therapy, Neurolinguistics, and Forensic Linguistics. For the past ten years, Prof. Dr. Subyantoro has served as a Forensic Linguistic Expert Witness for the Central Java Regional Police (Polda Jawa Tengah). His research focuses on forensic linguistics, and his dedication to education has earned him the Satria Educational Brand Award 2024.
Prof. Dr. Kartono, M.Si. is a professor in the field of educational evaluation, specializing in measurement and assessment in mathematics education. His initial research focused on test-equating methodologies, which he explored during his doctoral dissertation. Over time, he developed a strong interest in mathematics learning assessment, as reflected in his scholarly contributions. Currently, he is engaged in designing a collaborative dynamic assessment framework integrated into reflective mathematics learning.
A professor in Sociolinguistics, teaching linguistic courses across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs, including General Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Linguistic Research Methodology, Linguistic Theory Studies, and Critical Discourse Studies. His research focuses on sociolinguistics and critical discourse studies, particularly on diglossia in bilingual communities in Central Java, contributing to local language preservation.
Prof. Dr. Joko Widodo is a professor in the field of Educational Management. As an expert in Educational Management, he is skilled in planning quality education and implementing educational quality management practices.
As an expert in Automotive Technology and Vocational Education, Prof. Dr. Dwi Widjanarko has significantly contributed to the development of vocational education, particularly in the automotive sector. His teaching approach emphasizes the integration of technology to enhance accessibility and inclusivity in learning. He has developed various technology-based learning media for both offline and online applications, including automotive electrical system multimedia, automotive electrical testing simulators, educational videos and animations (offline and online), web-based automotive and vocational education platforms, and other automotive-related instructional tools. Many of his research outputs have been granted copyrights and patents.
As an expert in Computational Physics, Prof. Wahyu Hardyanto focuses on the computation of physical phenomena and systems through forward and inverse modeling. His research often involves numerical methods, machine learning, and neural networks. Additionally, he explores the application of information technology in education and management, leading to the development of various software tools for physics learning and management information systems.
As an expert in Physical Geography, Prof. Dewi Liesnoor Setyowati specializes in environmental studies, watershed management, and disaster management. Her research involves field studies (within the scope of geospheric phenomena), the development of dynamic models, the creation of information systems, story maps, and mapping using GIS. She has received notable achievements, including being awarded First Place for Best Social Humanities Researcher at UNNES in 2022 and The Most Productive Lecturer in 2020.
A professor in Economic Education, with research interests in economic education, evaluation, and measurement. Additionally, Prof. Sutratno specializes in entrepreneurship and cooperatives.
Prof. Dr. Sugianto, M.Si. is a Professor in Electronic Material Physics. His research focuses on studying the physical properties (structure, electrical properties, and optical properties) of wide-bandgap semiconductor materials such as GaN (and its alloys AlxGa1-xN), Ga2O3, ZnO (doped with Al and In), CdTe, and CdS, as well as their applications in electronic devices. Thin-film deposition of these materials has been carried out using PA-MOCVD and home-built DC Magnetron Sputtering methods for applications in electronic devices such as photodetectors and solar cells. Hydrothermally synthesized ZnO nanorods at specific temperatures have demonstrated excellent photocatalytic performance. Additionally, hydrothermal synthesis of ZnO/graphene oxide and Zn(Cu)/rGO composites has been conducted for supercapacitor electrode applications. Currently, he is exploring the potential of GaN wide-bandgap semiconductors for high-temperature superconductors. In collaboration with researchers from the Physics Department at the University of Malaya, he has been involved in fabricating GaN/CoGa2O4 heterostructures for high-temperature supercapacitor electrode applications.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khumaedi, M.Pd. was born in Tegal on September 13, 1962. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universitas Negeri Surakarta in 1988, earned his Master’s in Research and Educational Evaluation from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in 1997, and obtained his Doctorate in Research and Educational Evaluation from Universitas Negeri Jakarta in 2009. He has been teaching at Universitas Negeri Semarang since 1991 and was conferred the title of Professor in the field of Vocational Education Research in 2023. His courses include evaluation of learning outcomes, statistics, instrument development, research methodology, vocational teaching strategies, microteaching, technical drawing, machine drawing, among others. His tri dharma activities are focused on methods, models, and learning strategies, development of learning media, and the development of both test and non-test instruments in vocational education. Several scholarly works resulting from his research and community service have been published in national journals and reputable international journals.
Prof. Dr. Tri Marhaeni Pudji Astuti, M.Hum., is a Professor of Cultural Anthropology with a strong focus on social humanities and gender studies. She obtained her master’s degree in Gender Studies from the University of Indonesia. In 2010, she was recognized by UNESCO and the Indonesian National Commission as one of the Top 100 Women Researchers in Indonesia. She was awarded her professorship in 2010 at the age of 45.
As an expert in Biology Education, Prof. Wiwi Isnaeni has a strong interest in teaching and assessment methods, particularly in their application to improve the quality of learning processes and enhance the competencies of teachers and prospective teachers. She is actively involved in various research projects and community service initiatives aimed at advancing education quality.
Prof. Samsudin Anis, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2014. He is currently a Professor of Thermodynamics at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang. His research interests in thermo-fluids include renewable energy, bio-fuel, and refrigeration.
As an expert in Social and Economic History, Wasino conducts research on themes concerning social and economic history. His thesis on the “Modernization of the Mangkunegaran Administration” was published by Kompas Gramedia in 2016, and his dissertation on “Village Communities under the History of Mangkunegaran Sugarcane Plantations” was published in the book titled Kapitalisme Bumi Putra (2008/LkIS). Together with a team from UGM, UI, UNDIP, and UNS, he studied the nationalization of Dutch companies into Indonesian national companies currently under the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (such as PTPN, PT Pelni Persero, PT Kereta Api Indonesia, etc.), which was documented in the book Sejarah BUMN (2014). As an extension of his research on business history, Wasino has written about the history of Belawan Port, plantation history, tram history, and the history of maritime companies (with KPM becoming PT Pelni). He has also written about the transformation of “de Javasche Bank” into Bank Indonesia in relation to the growth of Semarang city. Additionally, Wasino has developed research on corporate-related health history, namely, Health Services in Tobacco Plantations in Medan during the Dutch colonial period. Besides modern economics, he has also authored works on the history of land ownership in relation to the development of food crops funded by the Toyota Foundation and LIPI (1995/1996). The social aspects he writes about mainly include the history of ethnic interactions between the Chinese and the Javanese in Surakarta, Semarang, Grobogan, and Lasem. His cultural studies extensively cover the exploration of traditional ceremonies in Central Java and the history of batik. His historical research is also applied in his studies on Social Sciences Education related to multiculturalism, civic education, and peace education.
Prof. Dr. Ali Masyhar, S.H., M.H.began his teaching career after graduating in 1999, and in December 1999 he was appointed as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pekalongan (Unikal). Since 2003, he has been a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), teaching core courses in Criminal Law, Criminal Law Policy, and Comparative Criminal Law. He has served as the Head of the Center for Legal Studies and Assistance (PKBH) at UNNES and as a Staff Expert to the Rector of UNNES. He is currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty for the period 2023–2028. In addition to his permanent position at UNNES, he also serves as a guest lecturer at various universities in Indonesia and is active in delivering lectures at numerous seminars and workshops. He is recognized as an expert in criminal law policy, with a particular focus on radicalism and terrorism.
Prof. Sri Sumartiningsih, S.Si., M.Kes., Ph.D., AIFO, is an academic and researcher specializing in sports physiology, with a focus on health, fitness, and physical performance. She has a strong educational background in health and sports sciences, complemented by extensive research experience in physiological adaptations to physical activity, fitness management, and exercise interventions aimed at improving individuals’ quality of life.
Prof. Dr. R Benny Riyanto, S.H., M.Hum., CN. is a Professor at Universitas Negeri Semarang in the field of law, specializing in Dispute Resolution Law, Civil Law, Legislative Law, Business Law, and Judicial Law. With over 30 years of experience in both academia and legal practice, he has become an influential figure in the development of legal science in Indonesia. As a full professor, he is active in the tri dharma of higher education, writes books and journal articles, and has significantly contributed to the formulation of national legislation and participated in the drafting team for the Criminal Code (UU No. 1 of 2023). He is active as a speaker at national and international seminars and has served as a visiting professor at top 100 universities worldwide, including Monash University, Australia. In addition to his academic activities, he has served as the Head of the Legal Research and Development Agency for Human Rights, Head of the National Legal Development Board, and Director General of Legislative Regulations. With his deep expertise in various aspects of law, he continues to contribute greatly to the advancement of legal science in Indonesia.
As an expert in Nutrition and Health – Nutrigenomics, Prof. Dr. Ari Yuniastuti, M.Kes. is interested in conducting research based on Nutrigenomics. Comprehensive nutrition research based on Nutrigenomics and public health, aimed at reducing and preventing stunting, conducted through RIIM-BRIN funding, shows that nutrition greatly influences health, particularly the specific role of nutrition in regulating gene expression. Based on each individual’s genetic code, consumption patterns can be predicted to optimize the expression of certain genes, which will affect human health. In addition, Prof. Ari Yuniastuti also conducts various studies on bioactive compounds from plants beneficial for health, as well as research on the halal status of food products.
Prof. Dr. Dwi Yulianti, M.Si., is a Professor specializing in STEM Approaches in Physics Education. Her research focuses on integrating STEM approaches into existing physics learning models to enhance 21st-century learning skills. She is currently developing STEM-integrated models to facilitate Computational Thinking skills and apply STEM approaches to early childhood science education.
Prof. Dr. Mahardika Prasetya Aji, M.Si., is a Professor of Nanomaterial Physics. As an expert in this field, he focuses on exploring local materials for the synthesis of Carbon Dots (CDs) nanoparticles and their functionalization in various applications, including health, environment, and agriculture. He investigates diverse carbon sources and optimizes the properties of CDs nanoparticles using a physics-based approach.
Prof. Dr. Nasuka, M.Kes., began his expertise as a professional volleyball player specializing as a hitter. Through her research, Prof. Puji Astuti analyzes the manifestation of cooperative learning principles and their role in optimizing English language instruction. Her findings contribute to strengthening “teacher agency,” which originates in teacher education classes, since without it, the implementation of cooperative learning would not be effective. Prof. Puji Astuti is also researching the involvement of digital technology in cooperative learning and has developed a digital application called “RaTa Cooperative Learning App for Teachers” to help educators implement cooperative learning more effectively in their classrooms.
Prof. Dr. Megawati, S.T., M.T., is an expert in Chemical Reaction Engineering with a particular interest in studying kinetics in chemical industry processes. Her work focuses on modeling the kinetics of hydrolysis and fermentation in bioethanol production, as well as the kinetics of sugar, essential oil, pectin, and antioxidant extraction from biomass. Additionally, she studies the drying kinetics of microalgae cultivated in vinasse waste and the drying process of analog rice from sorghum. Her research findings have significantly contributed to the preliminary design of chemical plants.
Prof. Dr. Tri Joko Raharjo, M.Pd. earned his Bachelor’s degree from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), his Master’s degree from Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), and his Doctorate from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) Bandung, all in Non-Formal Education. Since 1985, he has been a lecturer at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). He currently serves as the Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Basic Education at the UNNES Graduate School. His expertise includes Development Counseling and Community Empowerment, with core courses in Non-Formal Education Program Analysis. His research focuses on Community Learning Centers (PKBM), skill-based and entrepreneurship-oriented equivalency education, as well as the application of pedagogy and andragogy in non-formal education learning.

As an expert in Agrarian Political Law, she is interested in the field of agrarian issues, which includes defense and, in a broader sense, is related to natural resources. Prof. Dr. Fakhruddin is a professor in the field of Program Evaluation for Non-Formal Education. His contributions to academic research have been widely recognized, earning him the title of Second Most Productive Author at Universitas Negeri Semarang in 2023. He was also honored as an Educational Figure by the FIPJIP (Forum of Indonesian Faculty of Education Deans) at the national level.
With a strong foundation in Psychology and Sports, Prof. Dr. Heny Setyawati, M.Si., has developed specialization in the field of Sports Psychology. She conducts research and analysis on psychological aspects that influence athletes’ performance, both positively and negatively, during competitions. Prof. Heny received the 8th Annual International Scholar Research Exposition Award from The Ohio State University, USA. She is also actively involved in sports organizations such as PB Wushu Indonesia and KONI Central Java. Her contributions to international sports events include serving as an International Wushu Judge in the Asian Games, SEA Games, and Wushu World Championships.
Prof. Dr. Nina Oktarina, S.Pd., M.Pd., an expert in office administration education management, focuses her research on educational management and office administration. She develops applications and learning media related to E-Archive and digital offices. Her research has been published in various reputable international journals, including the Journal of Information Science Theory and Practice, Journal of Learning for Development, and International Journal of Business and Society.
Prof. R. Susanti’s research focuses on the interaction mechanisms between hosts and both commensal and pathogenic organisms using a multi-omic approach (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics). The multi-omic approach is also explored in non-infectious diseases such as cancer, aiming for early diagnostic accuracy and treatment development. Her research contributes to the improvement of animal, human, and environmental health.

As an expert in Epidemiology, Prof. Widya Hary Cahyati is interested in the distribution and risk factors of both infectious and non-communicable diseases. She analyzes risk factors and the distribution of diseases to find prevention solutions that reduce disease incidence. Additionally, her research also examines vector control (especially mosquitoes) using natural insecticides as a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution to reduce chemical insecticide resistance.
As an expert in mathematics education, Prof. Sukestiyarno has a strong interest in the field, particularly in mathematical literacy. His research on mathematical literacy has been published in numerous international journals indexed in Scopus.
Prof. Dr. Isti Hidayah, M.Pd. is a professor in the field of Mathematics Education. Her research and community service activities began in 1992. Her initial experience in partnering with small-scale woodcraft industries to utilize waste as mathematical teaching aids was obtained through the DRPM community service program, Ministry of Education (Dikti) in 1996. In the same year, a competitive DRPM research studied the development of APM (Manipulative Teaching Aids) and its learning until 2009. Additional roles reinforcing her research and community service, alongside her teaching duties, include serving as Head of the Mathematics Laboratory (1999–2003), being part of the APM design development team for the Directorate of TK-SD in 2004, and in 2005 being entrusted as the head of the APM learning trial research team in five provinces in collaboration between UNNES and the Directorate of TK-SD.
As an expert in ethnomathematics, Prof. Zaenuri has conducted research in various countries, including Japan, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and China. Prof. Dr. Margareta Rahayuningsih is actively engaged in research and community service related to biodiversity and environmental conservation. Over the past 15 years, she has conducted extensive biodiversity research in the Mount Ungaran forest and its buffer zones. She considers Mount Ungaran a critical natural forest in Central Java, essential for both biodiversity conservation and watershed protection. Recognizing the environmental significance of this area, she and her team at UNNES developed a proposal for the Special Purpose Forest Area (KHDTK) designation. After undergoing evaluation by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, on August 30, 2024, UNNES was officially granted KHDTK status for education and training covering 68.42 hectares, as per Ministerial Decree No. 1134 of 2024.
As an expert in Contract Law, Prof. Dewi is capable of designing and analyzing contracts/agreements. In addition, she possesses expertise in the resolution of out-of-court disputes, whether due to breach of contract or due to tort. She has served several times as an expert witness in courts and police investigations. Prof. Dewi is also certified as a mediator and remains a member of the Consumer Dispute Resolution Board in the city of Semarang.
Prof. Dr. Sri Ngabekti, M.S. is a professor specializing in environmental education. She teaches in the Biology and Environmental Science programs, and serving as an evaluator for the Environmentally Cultured Schools in Central Java from 2012 to 2024.
Prof. Dr. Putut Marwoto earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics Education from IKIP Semarang (1986), Master of Science in Physics from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) (1990), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) (2004/2005). His expertise lies in thin-film materials and the design of PECVD (Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) reactors for thin-film fabrication. His research focuses on advanced materials with potential applications in optoelectronics, sensors, and solar cells, particularly in synthesizing and characterizing thin films.
Prof. Dr. Wara Dyah Pita Rengga, S.T., M.T. is a Professor in Chemical Engineering. She was appointed as a Full Professor in 2020. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she actively conducts research focusing on topics such as adsorption, biofuels, bio-additives, nanoparticle materials, and polymers. She currently serves as the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the UNNES Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), ensuring the quality of research and community service activities at the institution. Prof. Dr. Sri Haryani, M.Si. is a Professor in Chemistry Education, specializing in innovative learning methods. She earned her Doctorate in 2011 with a dissertation on the Development of a Problem-Based Instrumental Analytical Chemistry Practicum Model to Enhance the Metacognition of Prospective Chemistry Teachers. She teaches various courses, including General Chemistry, Basic Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Analytical Chemistry, Solution Chemistry, Quantitative Chemistry, Cognitive Science, Learning Theory, and TPACK. She has contributed as an editor of high school chemistry textbooks published with the support of the Semarang City Government and has participated in the development of chemistry learning CDs for high school students under the initiative of Pustekom. Prof. Dr. Samsudi, M.Pd. is a professor in the field of Vocational Education Curriculum. The dynamic policies regarding the development and implementation of vocational curricula have always been his focus. For over 25 years, his research and publications have focused on this subject. His extensive experience includes working as an expert at the Curriculum and Learning Center, Kemdikbudristek, particularly in developing vocational curricula. He received the 2023 Dikti Research Award as the first winner in the Digital Economy field and is also involved in research for the development of Applied Technology for SMEs.
Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, M.T., IPM. actively teaches in the Bachelor’s programs in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Education, as well as in the Master’s Program in Vocational Education. He teaches courses such as Hydrology, Hydraulics, Environmental Engineering, Drainage Engineering, Water Resource Development, and Conservation Perspectives (Master’s level). His research focuses on Water Resource and Environmental Engineering, contributing to various Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs). His studies include groundwater conservation, flood control analysis, groundwater level distribution modeling, environmentally friendly water infiltration systems, sustainable drainage systems, and the electrolysis process of rainwater into alkaline water. As an expert in Urban Entomology, Prof. Niken Subekti is interested in the unique characteristics of urban insects (e.g., termites, mosquitoes, flies, ants, etc.) and their control systems. She analyzes how physical, chemical, and biological control systems operate. The Expert Council of the Indonesian Urban Pest Control Association (ASPHAMI) contributes to environmentally friendly urban pest control systems.
Serving as a lecturer in the Department of Biology, FMIPA UNNES since 1993, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nana Kariada Tri Martuti, M.Si. was conferred the title of Professor in Environmental Science in 2022, teaching core courses such as Conservation Education, Environmental Toxicology, and Aquatic Biology. Prof. Dr. Ir. Nana Kariada Tri Martuti, M.Si. has conducted various DRPM research projects under the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (including Fundamental and Applied Grants) related to environmental science. She is actively engaged in environmental activities and community empowerment in various cities in collaboration with the Semarang Municipal Government, ACCCRN, Mercy Corp, as well as several state-owned and private companies. She emphasizes the importance of scientific validation of Indonesia’s rich medicinal plant resources to ensure their safe and effective use. Addressing common misconceptions about herbal medicine, particularly in terms of dosage and potential side effects, is a crucial aspect of her work to prevent adverse health impacts. Supported by her expertise in biomedicine and basic medical sciences from her master’s and doctoral studies, Prof. Nugrahaningsih’s research focuses on the potential of herbal medicine to promote health independence in Indonesia.

As an expert in Applied Geophysics, Prof. Supriyadi has conducted research in collaboration with colleagues and students, focusing on the application of microgravity methods for various purposes. These include determining the direction of water injection in production wells experiencing a decline in volume, geothermal well monitoring, groundwater level monitoring, land subsidence in major cities, and predicting seawater intrusion. He also integrates microgravity with other geophysical methods, such as microtremor and geoelectric techniques, in specific cases. This combined approach aims to provide more comprehensive information on observed natural phenomena.

Prof. Dr. Suwito Eko Pramono, M.Pd. is Professor at Universitas Negeri Semarang and has served as the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Educational Management since 2022. In his career, he has served as the Head of the History Education Department at UNNES (2001–2004), as the Head of the UNNES Quality Assurance Board (2015–2017), later as the Secretary of LPPM UNNES (2017–2018), and as the Chair of LPPM UNNES (2018–2022).

Prof. Dr. Ir. Saratri Wilonoyudho, M.Si., is an esteemed academic and expert in demography, currently serving as a Professor of Demography at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes). Born in Klaten on January 13, 1963, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), followed by a Master’s and Doctorate in Demography from the same institution. As an expert in Disaster Education, Disaster Management, and Geomorphology, her primary research interest is in Disaster Education. As an expert in Javanese Philology, Prof. Dr. Yusro is interested in ancient Javanese manuscripts in the form of literary works such as kakawin, kidung, babat, suluk, and serat piwulang, which are products of Classical Javanese Literature. Prof. Dr. Lisdiana is an expert in Anatomy, Physiology, and Behavior. As an expert in these fields, she has conducted extensive research on the hazardous effects of narcotics, cigarettes, and vaping. Her research is carried out on both a laboratory scale and among high school students. She has also performed phytochemical analyses of rambutan peel extract as an agent to eliminate organ damage caused by exposure to cigarettes and vape. Rambutan peel extract is also studied as an anti-obesity and antihyperlipidemic agent. She also serves as a consultant at Madani Home Care (MHC).
Prof. Dr. Rudi Hartono, S.S., M.Pd. is a renowned academic and researcher in the field of linguistics and translation in Indonesia. He has a strong educational background and has contributed significantly to the development of linguistics, particularly in translation, language teaching, and cultural studies. He is often involved in research related to translation theories and best practices in foreign language education. In addition, he is active in writing scholarly articles and books that focus on various aspects of linguistics, including discourse analysis, language, and teaching methodology. As a professor, he teaches at leading universities in Indonesia and plays an important role in mentoring students and advancing research in language and translation. His contributions extend beyond academia to practical field training for translation professionals.
As an expert in Environmental Economics, Prof. Dr. Amin Pujiati, S.E., M.Si. has a deep interest in studies related to natural resource and environmental economics, environmental strategies and policies, the impact of economic activities on the environment, environmental economic valuation, sustainable development, sustainable development goals (SDGs), green economy, circular economy, and the optimization of natural and environmental resources.
Prof. Dr. Rustono, M.Hum. is a professor in language education with expertise in pragmatics at the Faculty of Language and Arts, Universitas Negeri Semarang. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Indonesian Language and Literature Education, as well as his master’s and doctoral degrees in Linguistics. In addition to teaching and researching pragmatics, he serves as an assessor for BKD and Lamdik, an evaluator of academic functional positions for lecturers, a member of the Central Java Provincial Education Council, and a member of the Prevention and Handling of Violence Team in educational institutions.
Prof. Agus Nuryatin, M.Hum., is a Professor of Literary Studies at Universitas Negeri Semarang. He is actively involved in literary research and teaching at the Faculty of Language and Arts, particularly in the Indonesian Literature Study Program. In addition, he has professional experience as the Chairman of the Indonesian Literary Scholars Association (HISKI) and a member of the Expert Board of the Indonesian Teachers’ Association (PGRI).
As an expert in the field of literature, Prof. Dr. RM. Teguh Supriyanto has been engaged in the study of literature since 1990, focusing particularly on Indonesian literature. His teaching and research in both Indonesian and Javanese literature have been ongoing since he became a lecturer in 1990. His research on various literary objects such as novels, poetry, drama, and films has produced many monumental books, for example, introductory texts on literary theory, literary research methodology, and he is currently writing Towards Indonesian Literary Sociology.
Prof. Dr. dr. Oktia Woro Kasmini Handayani, M.Kes, as a Professor in the field of Public Health Nutrition, conducts in-depth research on various community-based potentials, including local food sources, social environments, cultural environments, and social capital, for public health applications, particularly in preventive measures and dietary interventions for non-communicable diseases. Additionally, she explores the interconnections between public health disciplines (such as Epidemiology, Health Promotion, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, and Health Policy) and nutritional conditions in the community.
Prof. Dr. Awalya, M.Pd. Kons. is an expert in Nonmaterial Education. As an expert in the field of Guidance and Counseling, Professor Awalya is interested in the management of guidance and counseling, focusing on human behavior with all its characteristics. She conducts research on the interactions among students, teachers, principals, and guidance counselors in schools, within the educational environment.
Prof. Dr. Parmin, M.Pd. is a Professor in the Development of Professional Science Teacher Candidates. His expertise lies in research on pre-service teacher preparation, focusing on strengthening scientific content knowledge and instructional strategies to prepare the next generation of science educators. He has published 17 ISBN-registered books, including “Microteaching,” “Next Generation Science Standards for Pre-service Science Teachers,” and “Reconstructing Traditional Knowledge into Science.” He has authored 24 articles in reputable international journals as the main author.
As an expert in Ethnoscience research within the context of Science/Chemistry Education, Prof. Dr. Sudarmin, M.Si. is interested in research and learning based on culture and local wisdom within the context of science/chemistry education. Over the past twenty years, Prof. Sudarmin has produced research and books related to ethnoscience in the context of the development and implementation of Ethnoscience-based learning and its integration to achieve science literacy, chemistry literacy, higher-order thinking skills, and SDGs in education and the environment, along with 21st-century character development. Currently, the ethnoscience approach significantly contributes to achieving UNNES’s vision and mission regarding educational excellence and an internationally reputable, conservation-minded stance, especially in the preservation and reputation of Indonesian culture and local wisdom through science and chemistry education. Prof. Sudarmin has been recognized as one of the top authors in ethnoscience articles worldwide from 2011 until now (2024). His research has produced various scholarly works in the form of theses, dissertations, and has been published nationally and internationally, reaching approximately 4,646 citations according to digital databases in Sister.
Prof. Dr. Djoko Adi Widodo, M.T., specializes in solar energy as an electricity source based on photovoltaic technology and its applications, particularly at the micro-scale. His expertise includes the engineering and management of clean energy supply using battery storage with microgrid networks and IoT technology. He has also developed operational management and maintenance systems for solar-powered street lighting using IoT technology.
Prof. Dr. Siti Baitul Mukarromah, S.Si., M.Si.Med., is an academic and innovator in Sports Science, particularly in Sports Nutrition. As a scientist, she developed Aquarobics, an aquatic-based exercise innovation that has received Intellectual Property Rights (HKI). Aquarobics is designed to enhance fitness and effectively reduce obesity. She has also introduced innovations such as Batik Kormi, aerobic exercise dumbbells, floating belts for water-based exercises, and patented Aquarobics training methods.
As an expert in Educational Economics, Prof. Kardoyo is interested in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the inputs, processes, outputs, and outcomes of economics education in order to enhance educational management capabilities, he has also obtained an international certification in human resources analysis, thus possessing additional skills in educational management.
As an expert in Agricultural Economics, Prof. Sucihatiningsih Dian Wisika Prajanti is interested in economic issues related to the agricultural sector, including aspects of sustainability, food security, and agricultural policy. Prof. Sucihatiningsih Dian Wisika Prajanti is also actively engaged in research on the relationship between agricultural development and its impact on the local economy, as well as policies that support the sustainability of the agricultural sector.
Prof. Dr. Asih Kuswardinah is a Professor in Family Welfare Education. She holds a doctoral degree in Medicine, specializing in Family Health Behavior, a master’s degree in Technical and Vocational Education (PTK), specializing in Family Welfare Education (PKK), and a bachelor’s degree in Family Welfare Education.
Prof. Dr. Yeri Sutopo, M.Pd., M.T. is a professor in the field of Hydraulic Civil Engineering. The main courses taught include Closed Channel Hydraulics; Open Channel Hydraulics; Hydraulics; Water Resource Engineering; Urban Drainage. Prof. Dr. Yeri Sutopo, M.T. is an expert in dam construction, weirs, river sediment, irrigation, drainage, and drought analysis.
As a Professor in Accounting, his research interests and expertise include Financial Accounting, Corporate Governance, Earnings Quality, and Internal Audit. In addition to fulfilling his duties in the three pillars of higher education (teaching, research, and community service), he currently serves as the Head of the Internal Audit Unit at UNNES. His previous roles include Head of the Master’s Program in Economics, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Economics, Academic Advisor to the Vice-Rector II of UNNES, Secretary of the UNNES Academic Senate, and various other assignments.
As an expert in evaluation, Prof. Dr. Ani Rusilowati, M.Pd. specializes in educational assessment, the development of various evaluation instruments, and psychometrics. She has conducted numerous studies, both paper-and-pencil-based and digital, which are applicable in schools and higher education institutions.
Prof. Dr. Agus Wahyudin, M.Si. is a professor in management accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Semarang. His expertise includes the philosophy of science, quantitative research methods, accounting theory, and good governance. He has held various academic leadership roles, including Head of the Economics Department (2000-2003), Vice Dean for Student Affairs at FIS Unnes (2003-2006), Dean of the Faculty of Economics (2006-2011), and Vice Rector for Academic Affairs (2011-2015). Actively engaged in research on financial accounting, management accounting, and good governance.
Prof. Dr. Sutikno, S.T., M.T. is a Professor in the field of Material Physics. As an expert in Material Physics, he focuses on research and development in materials, emphasizing the processing of natural and waste materials—both organic and inorganic—into environmentally friendly functional materials. His research includes the utilization of organic natural materials from plants with suitable physical and chemical properties for sensor fabrication, batteries, solar cells, and photoresists. Beyond microelectronic device fabrication, Prof. Dr. Sutikno, S.T., M.T. has developed products such as composite brake pads, biodegradable plastics, fire bricks, and stove insulators. His research and development are not only aimed at increasing economic value but also at providing solutions to societal challenges, particularly waste management and sedimentation issues.
Prof. Enni Suwarsi Rahayu obtained her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from IKIP Negeri Semarang, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta, and Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), respectively. She was awarded the title of Professor in Botany in 2017. She teaches courses in Plant Tissue Culture, Plant Physiology, Ethnobiology, and Economic Botany. Her research focuses on developing in vitro propagation protocols for rare and economically valuable plants using natural supplements. This research contributes to the conservation of endangered plant species and the large-scale production of superior plant seedlings. Additionally, she explores ethnobotany, studying traditional knowledge of local ethnic communities about native plants, which serves as a basis for discovering medicinal, food, and botanical pesticide resources. She received the Gold Award from the Innovation and Invention UTHM Malaysia for her work on in vitro conservation of Javanese indigenous plants.
As an expert in automotive education management, Prof. Hadromi is particularly interested in aspects of education management related to automotive technology, curriculum development, teaching methodologies, leadership, human resource management, industry engagement, and automotive entrepreneurship. He analyzes how management strategies impact the performance and efficiency of automotive organizations while integrating sustainability principles into learning, promoting environmentally friendly technology, and enhancing energy efficiency.
Prof. Soesanto holds a doctoral degree in Medical Science from Universitas Airlangga, a master’s degree in Vocational Technology Education from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Education from IKIP Yogyakarta. His expertise lies in bioenergy sourced from humans, particularly the psychic energy produced as a driving force for both physical and psychological behavior. Additionally, he specializes in workplace safety engineering, particularly in high-risk work environments, with a focus on the dominant forms of human work habits among professional workers.

As a lecturer in Biology Learning Evaluation at the undergraduate level, Prof. Dr. Saiful Ridlo has a deep interest in assessment and evaluation of learning. His additional role as Head of the Center for Curriculum Development, Educational Innovation, and General Education (MKU-MKDK) has further strengthened his expertise in curriculum development. His knowledge in assessment and evaluation has been widely shared with elementary, junior high, and high school teachers, as well as assisting students in undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. He also plays a role in developing competency test questions for the PPG IPA program at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
Prof. Dr. Sri Wardani, M.Si., is a Professor in Chemistry Education, specializing in the advancement of chemistry education in Indonesia. She is recognized as an expert in preparing high-quality prospective chemistry teachers, with a particular focus on critical aspects of education, including innovative learning models, multiple intelligences, differentiated learning, curriculum development, laboratory activities, and the integration of cultural values in chemistry education.
Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman has extensive experience in the field of automotive vocational education. His career spans various roles, including working in automotive workshops, teaching automotive subjects at vocational schools (SMK), and instructing in educational institutions. He also serves as a competency assessment instructor and jury member for automotive skills competitions.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Harlanu, M.Pd., is a professor in Vocational Education Management, focusing on technopreneurship education in vocational high schools (SMKs). His research has introduced a comprehensive technopreneurship education model comprising 11 interrelated elements, including teacher guidance, business visits, product development, and business incubation.
As an expert in Biotechnology, Prof. Siti Harnina Bintari is interested in the fermentation of soybeans into processed products through fermentation/non-fermentation and innovating through fortification/supplementation technology to produce functional food products for humans and animals. She also explores the utilization of by-products to create commercial products, namely biofertilizer, feed, and health supplements. She is the recipient of the National Priorities Award (APN) and placed third in the Green Economy category, sub-category Environment.
Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman, M.Hum., is the Director of the Postgraduate School at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) for the 2023-2028 period. He previously served as the Rector of UNNES from 2014 to 2022. A professor of sociolinguistics since 2005, he has held key academic leadership roles, including Vice Rector for Development and Cooperation (2006-2014) and Head of the Research Institute at UNNES.
Prof. Sri Wuli Fitriati, Ph.D. is a Professor in English language education. Her research interests are in teaching English academic writing and discourse in English language education. She obtained her Undergraduate degree from IKIP Semarang (Institute of Teacher Training and Education Science), her Master’s degree from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) and her Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Prof. Fitriati has been continuing her research project on the area of interrelationships between the use of technological tools, second language acquisition, and English academic writing performance, and their impacts on teaching pre-service English language teachers.
Prof. Dr. Eko Handoyo, M.Si. is a lecturer in Pancasila and Civics Education at Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science UNNES, working since 1988. His field of expertise is Ethics and Development Policy. As an expert in these areas, Prof Eko Handoyo has extensively researched topics including street vendors, domestic workers, anti-corruption education, and studies of the informal sector. He has been recognized as an exemplary lecturer at both the faculty and university levels. In his professional associations, he has served as the Chair of AP3KnI Central Java and as a member of the Political Science Association. He also serves as the Secretary General of the DPP IKA UNNES in Semarang. In his academic development, he has presented at international conferences/seminars at Kansai Gaidai, Japan; Nagoya University, Japan; UPSI, Malaysia; UM, Malaysia; and USQ, Australia.
Prof. Dr. Subiyanto, ST, MT is a Professor in the field of Intelligent Systems in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering (FT) UNNES. Through numerous achievements and publications, he was appointed Full Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department of UNNES on December 1, 2020. He completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), obtained his Master’s in Electrical Engineering at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), and earned his Doctorate in Electrical, Electronic & Systems Engineering at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Prof. Dr. Subiyanto teaches Intelligent Systems, Power Electronics, and Artificial Intelligence System courses in the Electrical Engineering Department at UNNES.
Prof. Dr. Endang Susilaningsih, M.S., was appointed as a Professor at Universitas Negeri Semarang in 2024 in the field of Learning Methodology and Assessment. Her expertise includes Multi-Representation Learning and Learning Outcome Assessment, encompassing knowledge, skills, and attitudes. She has contributed to various fields, including Quality Assurance for Secondary Schools, In-Service Teacher Professional Education (PPG Daljab), Pre-Service Teacher Professional Education (PPG Prajab), and Educational Quality Assurance at both the provincial and district levels.
Prof. Dr. Dewi Selvia Fardhyanti, S.T., M.T., is a professor in Chemical Engineering specializing in extraction, thermodynamics, and biomass processing into bio-oil. Her research has led to numerous publications, patents, and presentations at national and international seminars, including events in Zurich, Phuket, Prague, Venice, Barcelona, Osaka, Taipei, Istanbul, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Ho Chi Minh City. Prof. S. Martono specializes in management science, with a specific focus on human resource management. Prof. Dr. Arif Purnomo is a Professor of the Philosophy of Social Sciences Education and teaches in the Social Sciences Education Study Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). Prof. Dr. Heri Yudiono, S.Pd., M.T. is a Professor in the field of Industrial Project-Based Learning Management. His research focuses on innovations in project-based learning management, enhancing the learning experiences of prospective teachers, students, institutions, and industries for more effective and efficient education. Additionally, he has a strong interest in sustainable material development, particularly natural fiber composites, aiming to create environmentally friendly and economically valuable materials.
Prof. Dr. Nanik Wijayati, M.Si., is a professor in the field of Organic Chemistry. Her research focuses on the isolation and derivatization of essential oil compounds as raw materials for the chemical industry, particularly turpentine oil. She teaches courses such as Organic Chemistry, Structural Elucidation, Macromolecules, and Biochemistry. Her achievements include being Best Presenter of Community Service Research (DIKTI DRPM, 2015) and First Place Academic Leader at Universitas Negeri Semarang (2017).
As a Professor in the field of Chemical Engineering, Prof. Widi Astuti is interested in the synthesis and modification of adsorbent materials and their applications for liquid waste treatment as well as CO₂ capture. In addition to coal fly ash-based adsorbents, he has also developed biomass-waste-based adsorbents through thermal conversion processes, particularly pyrolysis. His innovations focus on using microwave and plasma technology to replace conventional heating methods in the pyrolysis process. The optimization of the microwave oven design is carried out to achieve an even heating temperature and optimal heating rate, which directly affects the properties and characteristics of the resulting adsorbents. An alumnus of Universitas Gadjah Mada, he has made significant contributions to waste treatment technology aimed at minimizing environmental damage and pollution.
Prof. Dr. Bambang Budi Raharjo, M.Si., is a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), specializing in Public Health with a focus on Health Administration and Policy. He earned his Doctorate from Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga, and was appointed as a Professor on November 1, 2019, based on a decree signed by the Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Anwar Makarim.
Prof. Dr. P. Eko Prasetyo, SE., M.Si. is a professor in economics, teaching courses on macroeconomics, microeconomics, and industrial economics at the undergraduate (Development Economics), master’s (Economic Sciences), and doctoral (Economic Education) levels. His research focuses on entrepreneurship, institutions, resources, and industry.
Prof. Dr. Wiyanto, M.Si., is an expert in Science Education, particularly in Physics Education. His current focus is on studying learning methods to enhance scientific creativity, commonly known as scientific creativity.
Prof. Dr. Rini Kusumawardani is currently conducting research on earthquakes and the potential for liquefaction disasters in Indonesia. She collaborates with researchers from national institutions such as BRIN and BMKG, as well as international researchers from Taiwan and France, in efforts to mitigate earthquake impacts in Indonesia.
