Universitas Negeri Semarang/Achievement/UNNES Leaf Bone Painting Goes International

In the framework of the 54th Anniversary of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Research and Community Service Institute(LP2M) UNNES held an “OLD MASTER SERIES” Single Exhibition of Leaf Bone Painting by Husni Mubarok for 3 days from Thursday to Friday (3/27-29) in front of the Entrepreneurship Building (KWU) UNNES, Sekaran Campus, Gunungpati.
The chair of the exhibition committee Prof Dr Amin Retnoningsih MSi said that the exhibition of painting on leaf bones was the first time this had been held in Indonesia. This painting was escorted directly by Director of Research and Community Service since 2017, which in September 2018 was assisted in marketing its products by Bank Mandiri through the holding of the exhibition.
Leaf bone painting is the flagship work of Rasendriya, this painting has been copyrighted by the registration number 00137351. The uniqueness of this leaf bone painting product by Husni Mubarok is that the basic ingredients are easily available and will not become extinct, because they are made from leaf waste.
This leaf bone painting has also spread to the international scene, namely when there are foreign speakers at the international seminar inUNNES the speakers were given souvenirs of painting photos of him.
Realist photos by Husni Mubarok have received awards from Basuki Abdullah in 2016. This exhibition presents works such as Mona Lisa, La donna velata, Portrait of a man in a turban, Lady with an ermine, Napoleon crossing the alps, Amolfini potrait, La belle ferrorniere , Doni tondo, The virgin, Her meisje mer de parel, The stop altarpiece: virgin mary, Saint raphael the archangel, etc.
The Head of the Integrated Service Unit of Conservation also hopes that the painting works on leaf bones can be souvenirs of state guests visiting UNNES or vice versa.
In his remarks, Vice Chancellor for General and Financial Affairs Dr. S Martono MSi hoped that when the UNNES event or UNNES visitation to other agencies are held, then it would not carry the “semar” logo as a souvenir anymore, but it will be replaced with a world ball with UNNES logo in it.
“On this occasion, UNNES also congratulated Husni Mubarok and the team who held an exhibition for 3 days. For 3 days 1,000 souvenirs will be distributed free of charge to visitors. Finally, let’s keep this intellectual property from being extinct at any time, “said Dr Martono.
