Two students of Electrical Engineering of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) are going to Malaysia to follow Global Summit on Education 2017. This annual program will be held in Malaysia Berjaya Times Square, Kuala lumpur.
Global Summit on Education will be scheduled in two days, Monday and Tuesday (27 dan 28/3). This international conference will be followed by the international researcher, including students, lecturers, or practitioners.
Two students following GSE Malaysia are outstanding students. Muslim Nuryogi is the outstanding student of Engineering Faculty, 2016/2017 and the Head of Research and Development Bureau of BEM KM Unnes 2017 . The other students is Dieta Wahyu Asry Ningtias as the staff of Staf EneRC FT UNNES and the vice outstanding student of Engineering Faculty 2017.
Both of them will collaborate in presenting a paper of environmental conservation with engineering education basis entitled “Learning media to preserving the Enviroment in urban areas”. It is aimed to insert environmental careness to young generation and recruiting conservation cadres.
Global Summit on Education 2017 will be the conference of worldwide researchers. In that event, all delegates will present papers based on the Trends and Challenges of Education.
Beside international conference, there was also meetings to Malaysian youth activists. The meetings will discuss and share the matters related to higher education and academic collaboration which results can be implemented in Indonesia, especially UNNES.
The Vice Dean of Students Affairs of Engineering Faculty, Dr Wirawan Sumbodo MT wished that the representatives will learn many things from International activities making other students of UNNES being inspired to improve their reputation internationally.
Besides, The Dean of Engineering Faculty, Dr Nur Qudus MT, hoped that the students will also get sufficient access on pursuing graduates study in the country they want.
