In Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), students are not only guided to become academically capable but also encouraged to become a valuable society that has more value with its soft skills. For example, leadership skills, self-management, event management to communication skills. One of the best platform to develop those abilities is through the organization. Organizations that are developed by UNNES including Student Executive Board, Student Representative Council, and the Constitutional Student Court.
Student Executive Board or Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) is an UNNES student organization that organizes various activities and also managing the student system within the scope of UNNES. BEM KM UNNES also accommodates the voice and ideas of Faculty-Student Executive Board and Student Association (HIMA) in each department. In this organization, students learn not only to work in teams but also to develop their communication skills, self-management, event organizer and sharpening their sensitivity to the state and situation of politics, economics, science and technology, and law in national and international worlds.
