Bachelor in Mathematics Education

 

The Mathematics Education Study Program is one of three study programs in the Mathematics Department. This study program organizes mathematics education with the aim of producing graduates in the field of mathematics education with a Bachelor of Education (S1) qualification who are superior, meaningful, and dignified and sensitive to environmental sustainability. Graduates of the Mathematics Education Study Program are also equipped with research skills in the field of mathematics education, skills in developing mathematics learning media, using ICT in learning mathematics, entrepreneurship, and the ability to manage educational institutions.

While attending lectures, students take 145 credits (for Students Batch 2015-2017) or 144 (for Students Batch 2018 until now) which for 8 semesters with lecture subjects studied include groups in educational expertise consisting of the school mathematics curriculum and its learning , creative and innovative learning, mathematics learning assessment, technology-based learning practices, learning media development, mathematics education research, learning practices in schools, algebra expertise groups, analysis, statistics, and computing. The learning approach uses innovative creative learning-based learning by utilizing computing and information technology, and student-centered.
