Through the Technology Business Incubation Program, the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) has consistently fostered a technology-based startup or technology startup for the past four years.
From 2015 to 2019, Kemenristekdikti has built 1,307 startups. All of the startups supported by the Ministry of Research and Technology and other startups from all over Indonesia will be presented by Kemenristekdikti at the Technology and Innovation Startup Grand Gathering, Indonesia Startup Summit (ISS) which will be held in Hall D2, Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran on Wednesday (10/4) future.
To print young entrepreneurs, as many as 500 students from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) departed to the National Capital City to attend the ISS on Tuesday (9/4).
When releasing the group, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (FT) Student Affairs Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo MT hoped that UNNES students could create jobs for the community.
“As a student, it should provide a solution to the problems that are being experienced by this nation. One of them is by creating jobs through star up that you will create, “explained Dr. Wirawan.
The event, which is packaged in the Grand Start up Gathering, will present start up from Universities and LPNK under the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.The thousands of start up that will be exhibited not only focus on information and communication technology (ICT), but also other fields.
When giving direction to Indonesian Startup Summit participants, Chairperson of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) Dr. Suwito Eko Pramono MPd invited to realize Mandiri UNNES through starup empowerment.”This year is the Year of Independence for UNNES. This is an opportunity for you to show that UNNES can be global through the starup you have, “said Dr Suwito.
