Wisuda Periode 138 UNNES, Momentum Lulusan Wujudkan Ilmu untuk Masyarakat

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) kembali menyelenggarakan upacara wisuda periode ke-138 pada Sabtu (18/4) di Auditorium Prof. Wuryanto.

Pada periode ini, UNNES mengukuhkan sebanyak 1.500 wisudawan dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan.

Berdasarkan data rekapitulasi, lulusan terdiri atas 76 program doktor, 332 program magister, 1.081 program sarjana, dan 11 program diploma. Komposisi ini menunjukkan dominasi lulusan sarjana sebagai bagian terbesar dari keseluruhan wisudawan.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Rektor UNNES, Prof. Dr. S. Martono, M.Si., menyampaikan pesan penting terkait peran lulusan sebagai agen perubahan di masyarakat.

Dalam pidatonya, Rektor mengucapkan selamat kepada seluruh wisudawan serta apresiasi kepada orang tua yang telah mendampingi proses pendidikan hingga tuntas. Ia menegaskan bahwa capaian akademik yang diraih bukanlah akhir, melainkan awal dari pengabdian yang lebih luas bagi masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara. 

“Keberhasilan hari ini adalah prestasi yang patut disyukuri, namun juga menjadi titik awal untuk mengimplementasikan ilmu demi kemaslahatan bersama,” ujarnya.

Selain itu, Rektor juga menyampaikan kabar menggembirakan terkait tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap UNNES. Berdasarkan data Seleksi Nasional Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (SNPMB) 2026, jumlah pendaftar mencapai lebih dari 41 ribu orang, menunjukkan tingginya kepercayaan publik terhadap UNNES sebagai perguruan tinggi pilihan. 

Dalam pidatonya, Rektor menekankan pentingnya kepemimpinan bagi setiap lulusan. Ia menguraikan tiga langkah utama dalam membangun kepemimpinan, yakni memimpin diri sendiri, membangun relasi yang bermakna, serta menciptakan dampak yang relevan bagi masyarakat.

Menurutnya, kepemimpinan dimulai dari kemampuan individu dalam mengelola diri, termasuk pikiran, emosi, dan tindakan. Selanjutnya, lulusan diharapkan mampu membangun kolaborasi yang kuat, karena keberhasilan tidak dapat dicapai secara individu. 

Lebih lanjut, ia menegaskan bahwa ilmu pengetahuan akan memiliki makna ketika digunakan untuk menyelesaikan persoalan nyata yang dihadapi masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, lulusan UNNES diharapkan mampu menjadi bagian dari solusi atas berbagai tantangan global.

“Dunia membutuhkan kontribusi nyata dari para terpelajar. Jadilah bagian dari solusi, bukan bagian dari masalah,” tegasnya.

Menutup sambutannya, Rektor kembali menyampaikan harapan agar para lulusan senantiasa menjaga integritas, konsistensi, dan semangat dalam berkontribusi di berbagai bidang.

Upacara wisuda ini menjadi momentum penting bagi lulusan UNNES untuk melangkah ke tahap kehidupan berikutnya dengan bekal ilmu pengetahuan, karakter, dan semangat pengabdian.
