Unnes Perkuat Kerja Sama dengan Sejumlah Mitra

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) selalu berupaya untuk memperluas kerja sama termasuk memperkuatnya dengan berbagai mitra kerja. Sebagai langkah awal dari penguatan itu, Unnes mengadakan curah gagasan dengan berbagai mitra, Selasa (11/2), di rektorat kampus Sekaran.

Mitra Unnes yang hadir di antaranya berbagai pondok pesantren, Akademi Kepolisian, Akademi Militer, sejumlah bank, Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines), Politeknik Maritim Negeri Indonesia (Polimarin), dan IKIP PGRI Semarang.

“Kami berupaya untuk me-review serta meningkatkan kerja sama yang bermuara pada hasil sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, tidak hanya berkompeten dalam bidang akademik tetapi harus mempunyai karakter berbasis konservasi,” kata Pembantu Rektor Bidang Akademik Unnes, Dr Agus Wahyudin MSi.

Dia juga mengatakan, Unnes berupaya untuk membuka kerja sama dalam bidang lain terkait dengan tri darma perguruan tinggi. “Semisal, Unnes tengah merancang kurikulum berbasis konservasi, untuk memastikan lulusan berkarakter dan berbasis konservasi,” kata Dr Agus.

Staf Ahli Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama Unnes Prof Dr Rustono mengatakan, sangat dimungkinkan untuk mengkaji ulang kerja sama yang sudah lama dibangun. “Hal itu untuk memperpanjang dan meningkatkan kualitas kerja sama,” katanya.

Menurutnya, banyak hal yang bisa digali, semisal internasionalisasi, teknologi informasi, penelitian, budaya lokal, hingga pemetaan wilayah. “Semua itu sebagai upaya untuk mencetak SDM yang berkualitas,” ujarnya.

    Seperti apa ya? kalau lulusannya berbasis kompetensi, berarti dosen yang mengajar juga harus dosen konservasi, seperti apa ya dosen konservasi itu, mari kita renungkan bersama.

    Mohon kerjasama dengan PT Pos yang konon pernah ada (atau masih ada?) diteruskan untuk mengirim KHS mahasiwa tiap semester kepada orangtua/wali mahasiwa dikarenakan banyak diantara orangtua/wali mahasiswa yang tidak dapat mengakses nilai melalui internet dengan berbagai alasannya. Hal ini akan semakin mengukuhkan pelayanan prima Unnes kepada mahasiswa dan orangtua/wali mahasiwa dan membantu meningkatkan kontrol study serta mencegah/meminimalisir angka kegagalan study.
