Rp 512.000.000 Dana ZIS Dari Dosen dan Karyawan Unnes

Rumah Amal Lembaga Amal Zakat Infak dan Sedekah (Lazis), Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) berhasil menghimpun dana Rp512.000.000 (lima ratus dua belas juta rupiah) dari amal, infak, dan sedekah dosen dan karyawan Unnes. Hal tersebut diungkapkan Dr Edy Purwanto selaku Ketua Rumah Amal Lazis Unnes di rektorat, Kamis (9/7).

“Zakat amal dan sedekah yang sudah diamanatkan ini akan disalurkan sesuai mekanisme untuk turut membantu kepada saudara kita yang masih tergolong fakir miskin. Rumah amal akan mengelola dana zakat amal dan sedekah dengan transparan supaya masyarakat tahu,” ungkap Dr Edy Purwanto.

Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum menyambut baik upaya Rumah Amal Lazis Unnes dalam menjalankan tugas pokok dan fungsinya. Rektor berharap agar dosen dan Karyawan Unnes yang memperoleh rizki lewat Unnes dapat menyalurkan sebagian hartanya lewat Rumah Amal Lazis Unnes.

“Ini salah satu penguatan perguruan tinggi. Penguatan perguruan tinggi tidak hanya pada pelaksanaan tridharma perguruan tinggi saja, namun memenuhi tugas keagamaan juga termasuk salah satu penguatan karakter bagi civitas akademika Unnes. Selaku pimpinan saya mengajak dan mendorong warga Unnes terutama warga muslim untuk memberikan sebagian hartanya pada fakir miskin dan orang-orang yang membutuhkan uluran tangan sebagai wujud kepedulian sosial,” tutur Prof Fathur Rokhman.

Rumah Amal Lazis Unnes merupakan organisasi sosial kemanusiaan profesional di lingkungan Universitas Negeri Semarang. Bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ummat dan mengejawantahkan ajaran Islam sebagai rahmatan lil’alamin.

Hadir dalam pertemuan tersebut Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum, Pembantu Rektor Bidang Administrasi Umum Dr S Martono MSi, Dr Edy Purwanto Ketua Rumal Amal Lazis Unnes, Dr Agus Yulianto Ketua Divisi Penghimpunan, Iwan Junaidi Ketua Divisi Pemberdayaan, Kepala BAPK Drs Sutikno, dan pejabat di lingkungan Unnes.
