Terpilih Aklamasi, Prof Soesanto Ketua Senat Unnes 2015-2018

Prof Dr Soesanto MPd terpilih menjadi ketua Senat Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) periode 2015-2018. Ia terpilih secara aklamasi dalam rapat senat, Selasa (20/1) di Kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Semarang.

Dari 72 anggota Senat yang hadir, semua anggota sepakat menjadikan profesor teknik mesin tersebut menggantikan Prof Dr Samsudi MPd yang habis masa jabatannya.

Pemilihan Ketua Senat dipimpin oleh anggota senat paling senior dan anggota senat yang paling muda yaitu Prof Dr Rasdi Ekosiswoyo MSc dan Prof Dr Sutikno ST MT.

Amanah sebagai Ketua Senat dinilai Prof Dr Soesanto sebagai kesempatan mengabdi dan mengamalkan ilmu bagi pengembangan institusi. “Selama kita bekerja kita misbarkan tujuan kita dan arah tujuan kita selaras dengan visi misi Unnes,” katanya.

“Mari kita bekerja mendampingi dan membantu Rektor memimpin universitas ini untuk menjadi universitas terbaik, minimal di regional,” pungkas mantan Rektor Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) ini.
