Melalui skema Program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) kembali menyerahkan bantuan kepada Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) pada Jumat (10/7). Bantuan dalam bentuk portable wastafel ini, secara simbolis diserahkan langsung oleh Kepala BTN Wilayah VI Jateng-DIY Ferry Sipahutar dan Branch Manager BTN Semarang Erianto Hasibuan kepada Rektor UNNES Prof Fathur Rokhman MHum.

“Sebagai mitra kerja, kami sangat berharap bantuan ini dapat bermanfaat bagi UNNES guna melengkapi peralatan dan protokol kesehatan dalam melawan covid-19,” ungkap Ferry.

Lebih jauh, Branch Manager BTN Semarang Erianto Hasibuan menambahkan, bantuan diharapkan dapat dipergunakan dengan baik terutama dalam pelaksanaan protokol kesehatan saat proses Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (PMB) tahun 2020.

“Kami sangat senang bisa memperkuat kerjasama dengan UNNES. Kami berusaha sebaik mungkin untuk menjalin kerjasama dengan mitra kami. Saat ini kan, UNNES dan perguruan tinggi lainnya sedang melaksanakan proses penerimaan mahasiswa baru, sehingga saya berharap 10 portable wastafel ini dapat membantu penerapan protokol kesehatan dalam proses penerimaan itu,” jelas Erianto.

Bertempat di lapangan tenis UNNES, Rektor UNNES Prof Fathur Rokhman MHum menyambut baik pemberian bantuan ini.

“Kami keluarga besar UNNES menyampaikan terima kasih kepada mitra kami, Bank BTN karena turut serta menggadeng kami dalam usaha melawan covid-19,” jelas Rektor.

Rektor menambahkan, ditengah wabah pandemi seperti saat ini, setiap orang harus tetap happy dan senantiasa menjaga kesehatan. Selain itu, Rektor juga mengimbau untuk senantiasa melaksanakan program 3M. Program 3M ini meliputi menerapkan physical distancing, mencuci tangan secara benar, dan menggunakan masker kain.
