FMIPA as part of Semarang State University has made efforts to participate in building and developing national and international cooperation in the field of MIPA. At the faculty level, all forms of collaborative activities are assigned to the Cooperation Group, which has now changed its name to the Business Cooperation and Development Group (GKSBP). This cluster is an extension of the faculty in establishing cooperation with institutions or partners both in the form of drafting cooperation agreements (PKS) or Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implementation of Cooperation Plans or Implementation of Arrangements (IA).

This name change has consequences for GKSBP which is not only tasked with helping find relationships and forging new partners, but also supports faculty efforts to increase income generating through cooperation schemes. In addition, the role of GKSBP FMIPA is currently very central in the success of the Independent Learning and Independent Campus (MBKM) program, considering that the eight programs from MBKM require a partnership.

GKSBP members consist of representatives from each department at FMIPA UNNES. Where each department is represented by one member. Each of these members is expected to contribute and become a driving force for their department. The duties of GKSBP FMIPA include:

  1. Establishing cooperation with partners both domestically and abroad, including:
  2. Collaboration with the world of business and industry.
  3. Cooperation with local government.
  4. Collaboration with the central government / ministries / institutions / agencies (BUMN).
  5. Collaboration with universities / institutions / schools.
  6. Building business development through cooperation schemes between FMIPA and partners.
  7. Assisting the administrative process of student/staff mobility in terms of arranging State Secretariat letters.
  8. Together with the department, they monitor their students who are participating in student mobility, both inbound and outbound.
  9. Together with the department, they monitor their staff who are participating in staff mobility, both inbound and outbound.
  10. Documenting the cooperation script into the cooperation system.
