8.000 Maba UNNES Jalani Tes Anti Narkoba

Sekitar 8.000 mahasiswa baru Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) tahun akademik 2018/2019 menjalani  tes anti narkoba yang diselenggarakan Unnes bekerjasana dengan Polda Jateng, Polrestabes Semarang, BNN Propinsi Jateng dan Pusat Layanan Kesehatan (Puslakes) Unnes di kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Sabtu (11/08//2018).
Wakil Rektor III (Bidang Kemahasiswaan) Unnes Dr Bambang Budi Raharjo MSi kepada pers di sela sela peninjauan tes anti narkoba, menyatakan tes melibatkan total 131 pengetes atau petugas terdiri 18 petugas dari Polda Jateng, 70 petugas dari Polrestabes Semarang, 25 dari BNN Jateng, serta 18 dari Puslakes Unnes.
“Tes ini sebagai salah satu program tindak lanjut Unnes ingin mengelola mahasiswa berpestasi dan berkarakter yang nantinya berguna bagi bangsa dan keluarganya. Salah satu di antaranya lewat tes anti narkoba ini serta kegiatan lain seperti Orientasi Kepramukaan Perguruan Tinggi (OKPT). Mahasiswa dengan mengenakan seragam pramuka serta di tes anti narkoba merupakan nilai tambah tersendiri. Unnes bulan depan juga akan mengirim semua mahasiswa baru mengikuti kegiatan bela negara di Rindam Magelang dengan para pelatih dari Kodam IV Diponegoro” ujar Bambang Budi Raharjo didampingi dr Mhalul Azam dari Puslakes Unnes.
Lebih lanjut menurut WR IV Unnes ini, para mahasiswa baru Unnes selain menerima materi tentang bela negara, pada masa orientasi ini juga dikenalkan pada sistem perkuliahan di Unnes sehingga begitu memulai masa perkuliahan, para mahasiswa baru sudah paham dengan suasana akademik di Unnes.
Selain itu mahasiswa juga diberi pendidikan agar semakin mencintai orang tua mereka sehingga berdampak pula pada tangggungjawab pada orang tua yang diwujudkan lewat berprestasi di kuliah sampai pada cinta NKRI. (sgi)
