Semarang, October 27, 2025, Lecturers from the Mathematics Cluster of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at UNNES conducted a collaborative visit to the Regional Finance Agency (BKD) and the Semarang Regency Health Office. The visit was welcomed by Eko Wisugroho, S.E., Head of the Regional Cash Management Subdivision, at the Semarang Regency Health Office. Meanwhile, at the Semarang Regency Health Office, the UNNES delegation was received by Susilo Putri Handayani, Staff for General Affairs and Personnel.
This meeting served as a strategic opportunity to strengthen academic partnerships between UNNES and local government agencies in the fields of applied mathematics, financial data analysis, and health data management. Both agencies expressed their appreciation for the contribution of the UNNES PRIGEL internship program, which is considered to provide tangible benefits in improving student competency and supporting data-driven governance within the partner agency. This activity also forms part of UNNES’s efforts to strengthen the connection between on-campus learning, the workplace, and community needs, in line with its commitment to Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Dr. Wardono, M.Si., stated that synergy between universities and government agencies is a crucial foundation for producing adaptable and competitive graduates. He emphasized that through such collaborations, students can hone their analytical, problem-solving, and statistical skills in the real context of government and public service.
This visit is expected to be the first step in expanding the partnership network of the UNNES FMIPA Mathematics Cluster with local government agencies, as well as strengthening UNNES’s role as a leading and globally competitive conservation campus.
