In today’s digital age, managing time, habits, and life goals is a challenge for many individuals, especially the younger generation. Recognizing this, a team from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Semarang State University (UNNES) has successfully created an innovative product called LUMA (Life Universe Management Program), a web-based program designed to help users plan habits, track goals, and organize daily activities in a measurable and targeted manner.
LUMA was developed by four students: Arya Rachman Hakim (Mathematics 2022), Faizatul Alfath (Mathematics 2022), Dian Nissa Zahria (Mathematics Education 2022), and Endra Arifudin Fawaz (Mathematics Education 2024), under the supervision of Adi Satrio Ardiansyah, S.Pd., M.Pd. This product comes with several superior features, such as a Habits Planner, Goal Tracker, To-Do List, and a Visual Dashboard that displays user achievements interactively. With a simple yet modern look, LUMA focuses not only on productivity, but also on continuous self-development.

“Through LUMA, we want to help students and the general public be more consistent in achieving their personal goals, both in academic and non-academic areas,” said a member of the development team.
Besides being a personal planning tool, LUMA is also expected to be an educational tool that encourages FMIPA students to continue innovating by combining technology with real-life solutions. Going forward, the development team plans to expand LUMA’s capabilities by adding automated integration features, such as daily streak information and notifications. They will also explore commercial opportunities. By selling the digital version at an affordable price and offering special promotions for students, the team can learn about digital entrepreneurship. Users will also benefit from more stable features and easier access to productivity tools.
LUMA’s presence is a clear demonstration of the innovative spirit of FMIPA UNNES students in implementing their knowledge into works that benefit society. This product not only demonstrates creativity and technical ability but also illustrates UNNES students’ commitment to addressing the challenges of the times through digital innovation.
