Semarang, October 17, 2024 — The Computer Science Cluster, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Semarang State University (UNNES) once again held the 2024 National Computer Science Seminar. The seminar, which was held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, presented 300 participants consisting of academics, practitioners, students, and professionals in the field of information technology.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Planning and Resources, Dr. Isnarto, M.Si., who in his remarks emphasized the importance of collaboration between academics and industry in facing the challenges of rapid technological developments. “This seminar is expected to be a forum for exchanging knowledge and strengthening synergy between higher education and the industrial world,” he said.
The seminar presented three speakers who are experts in their fields, namely:
Dr. Aris Puji Widodo, S.Si., M.T. from Diponegoro University, who presented material on AI-Based Software Engineering.
Aditya Dwi Putra, a practitioner in the field of AI for Business, who provided insight into the application of artificial intelligence in the world of business and industry.
Florentina Yuni Arini, S.Kom., M.Cs., Ph.D., who is an expert in the field of Data Science and discussed the latest trends and innovations in big data processing.
The seminar participants seemed very enthusiastic about following the series of events that took place dynamically and interactively. The question and answer session that took place after each presentation of the material was filled with critical and in-depth discussions, showing the enthusiasm of the participants in understanding various current issues in the field of computer science.
This seminar is not only a place to share knowledge, but also opens up opportunities for collaboration between participants and speakers, as well as strengthening relations between academics and the industrial world. It is hoped that through this seminar, innovation in the field of technology and information in Indonesia can continue to develop and be able to compete at the global level.
