The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Semarang State University (UNNES) held a coordination meeting for the initial odd semester 2024/2025 on Wednesday, August 15, 2024. This activity was attended by the ranks of the dean, lecturers, and education staff of FMIPA.

In the meeting, the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Edy Cahyono, M.Sc., delivered a presentation regarding the achievements that FMIPA has achieved and the targets to be achieved this semester. One of the achievements that is proud of is the acceptance of new FMIPA students which reached 1,510 people. This number shows high enthusiasm for the study programs at FMIPA UNNES.

In addition, the Dean of FMIPA also revealed plans to build a smart classroom in the FMIPA environment. This development is expected to improve the quality of technology-based learning, in line with UNNES’ vision as an Internationally Reputable Conservation University.

In the meeting, an introduction was also made to 23 new CPNS Lecturers who will strengthen the academic ranks at FMIPA. The presence of these new lecturers is expected to bring new energy and significant contributions to the development of science and research at FMIPA.

In addition to the presentation of achievements and targets, the Dean of FMIPA also showed the latest design of the parking building which is currently under construction. This parking building is planned to be completed by the end of 2024 and is expected to be able to address the increasing need for parking along with the increasing number of academics at FMIPA.

This coordination meeting is an important moment to unite visions and strategies in facing challenges and opportunities in the odd semester of 2024/2025, as well as strengthening FMIPA UNNES’ commitment to providing quality and innovative education.
