In the first week, Fidia Fibriana, Ph.D. also had the opportunity to welcome the team from FMIPA UNNES led by Deputy Dean I and II Mr. Zaenal Abidin, Ph.D. and Dr. Isnarto. The FMIPA UNNES team jointly carries out community service activities for Indonesian teachers who teach in schools spread across Southern Thailand. This agenda of community service activities is supported by collaboration with the Al Hidayah Waqaf Foundation for Education and Social Development with the leader who is also the KRI Songkhla Social and Cultural Affairs Staff, Mr. Adul Meatam.
The implementation of this program is during the semester break at UNNES so that the Visiting Professor program does not interfere with Tridharma’s main duties. This positive activity is strongly supported by FMIPA UNNES. Dean of FMIPA UNNES, Prof. Dr. Edy Cahyono, M.Sc. said that this activity provided international experience for FMIPA UNNES lecturers to experience a different academic atmosphere.
Fidia Fibriana, Ph.D. also explained that being a lecturer at another university abroad can be a means to teach better because we can learn from the lecturers at the PT in holding lectures. This implementation includes preparing learning tools, preparing Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) and Course Learning Outcomes (CLO), as well as teaching materials. Learning activities are also a trigger to provide a fresher atmosphere in teaching at FMIPA UNNES later. Classes at PSU have been set up with a smart classroom concept where there are loudspeakers, LCD projectors, whiteboards, OHP projectors, speakers, fully AC rooms, touch screen computer screens, comfortable chairs for lecturers and students, and a dedicated central computer. for cloud-based storage of data or teaching material files and can be uploaded and downloaded anywhere and at any time, making it easier for lecturers not to bring laptops to class.
“It is hoped that this smart classroom concept can be an inspiration for developing classes at FMIPA UNNES in the future,” he said.
Congratulations and success Fidia Fibriana, Ph.D., hopefully you will always be healthy, your activities will run successfully, smoothly and be made easy so that they will produce blessings and benefits for all.
