Semarang, 28 May 2024 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Semarang State University (FMIPA UNNES) is again holding a prestigious event, the 11th International Conference on Mathematics, Science and Education (ICMSE). This international conference will be held on September 14 2024 at Building D12, 3rd floor, FMIPA UNNES.
Carrying the theme “Research on Education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics for Sustainable Development Goals”, this year’s ICMSE will be a platform for academics, researchers and educational practitioners from all over the world to discuss and share the results of their latest research. This theme was chosen with the aim of integrating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), so that it can make a real contribution to global educational progress and environmental sustainability.
Deputy Dean III for Research, Business and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Sutikno, MT., stated that this conference will present various presentation sessions, panel discussions and workshops focused on innovation and research implementation in the STEM field. “We hope that this conference can become a place for collaboration and useful exchange of knowledge, as well as motivating researchers to continue working to support the achievement of the SDGs,” said Prof. Dr. Sutikno, MT.
Apart from that, ICMSE 2024 will also present keynote speakers from various countries who are experts in their fields. They will present current and relevant topics that can provide new insights for conference participants. It is hoped that through this conference, a stronger international collaboration network will be formed between educational and research institutions.
