13 May 2024 – Chemistry education student from Semarang State University, Rene Aliya Pramestia, succeeded in achieving brilliant achievements by winning 3rd place in the oration competition organized by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Achievement Week 2024. This competition was held on Saturday, 11 May 2024, highlighting the theme “The Critical and Progressive Role of the Millennial Generation in Realizing the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This national oration competition provides an opportunity for students from all corners of the Republic of Indonesia to participate. This year, FISIP Achievement Week held online and offline competitions, with the preliminary round held online and the final round held offline.
Rene Aliya Pramestia demonstrated her expertise in conveying critical and progressive thinking regarding the role of the millennial generation in realizing sustainable development goals by 2030. In her oration, Rene underlined the importance of the active role of the younger generation in creating positive changes for society and the environment.
“Rene Aliya Pramestia’s participation in this competition shows her strong commitment to global issues and awareness of the important role of the millennial generation in achieving sustainable development goals,” said Chair of the 2024 FISIP Achievement Week Committee, Dr. Andi Wijaya.
